I once had that experience from the other side. When I was 12, I went

(from Philadelphia) to visit my oldest sister who was living in

Chicago. I rang the doorbell. When she came and opened the apartment

door, she looked at me and said, " Yes? " (as in " what do you want? " ).

She had no idea who I was.

And as far as I know, she's not faceblind -- though her oldest daughter is.
