Guest guest
Hi Lori, Thanks for the link. I couldn’t help notice your signature quote about dogs – yes, I’m crazy about dogs too. Someone on a dog forum that I belong to has the exact saying as well. Guest guest
Thanks, Courage. My ladies have been my world (I have three and a one-eyed cat!). Speaking of dogs, interestingly enough, I think my Dad's dog has had a rather noticeable reaction to his change into Lewy Body. She became much more needy and clingy when I think she was confused as to what was happening, and at the time we were unsure as well! As the 'new normal' has set in, she has continued to go through bouts of what appear to be real insecurity/neediness/anxiety...and although it's frustrating, I suspect some of it is the lingering effect of her reaction to his disease. I wonder how often animals are really in tune with that kind of thing, and suspect it must be more often than we realize.
