Guest guest
Mom has had this year's variety too. At her SNF nurses are giving residents with coughs - those who ask and for whom their doctor's okay is on record - over the counter cough syrup. Even the residents have noticed that a lot of people have been coughing less. I think it is a lot like send a child to school. Anything contagious spreads wherever vulnerable people congregate. School or an SNF. It's one of those tradeoffs. But sometimes I wonder why Mom getting a cold upsets me. It would be a blessing if it turned into pneumonia and she were able to pass before things got any worse. I know she feels the same way. Instinct often wins over reason.
