Downhill slide - Could it by synthroid

My dad was doing pretty well until last week and he has gone downhill, stiff

arms, unable to speak or feed self, trouble swallowing, falling down. He was

started on synthroid a few weeks ago. Has anyone had a bad reaction to it that

was cause a slide like this.
