The problem is that I have a hard time perceiving where the hands are in relation to the numbers. Where is the big hand, where is the little hand, which one is the big hand and which one is the little hand? I'm usually fine with clocks, but there is one in our kitchen that would give anyone a hard time, I think. It has second, minute and hour hands, all black, and also a black alarm setting hand. Many many times I think the alarm hand is the minute hand, and I'm trying to time things cooking, reading a magazine at the table and looking at the clock occasionally, and I think the minute hand is taking forever to get to the next number ... lol. I guess I should replace the clock sometime. It doesn't help that my landlady likes it to be set about 10 mins fast as she's not good at timekeeping, whilst I am very precise about it. Argh!
