If you have low progesterone, it's all tied together. Low progesterone alone can cause miscarriage. Progesterone is a precursor to cortisol, so if you're low on P, you may be low on C. Don't know if low C would actually CAUSE the MC, but the low P would. Then, factor in that low P affects thyroid function...the perfect storm! I don't know how old you are, but I would definitely get all of this tested & figured out before you get too far down the path. I'm only 39, and it appears that my P levels are post-meno! THAT can't be helping my adrenals! You may have read here that as soon as I can get my cycle regulated, I am going to do the Diagnos-Techs 11-vial saliva test through Dr. Mark . His website is www.drmarkrhodes.com if you're interested. Personally, I wouldn't embark on the hormone replacement voyage without testing, although I think that many ladies do.
