hello ronald,

this is realy strange. i was going to post the same question. i

am 42 years old, and i think they used these hiddeous instruments alot

back then.

probbably alot of them unessasarely. about one month ago my mother

asked me

if acm is always congenital.she told me when she was in labor with me,

that her regular doc was out of town and that the doc on call that

night, was a foreighner, like from an old country. he did not beleive in

giving anything

for the pain. she said that when she yelled out in pain, he got upset

with

her and told her to settle down. when she yelled the next time he told

the nurses to put a gag in her mouth, she said the nurses could not

beleive what

they were hearing, but did what they were told. i was not a tiny baby

7lbs 11ozs. and i was her 2nd baby. she said he wanted to deliver me in

a hurry

because he had a few other women in labor at the same time. she said

she

heard him ask for the forcepts. she said she had never experienced such

pain in her whole life. this says alot when her 4th baby weighed 10 lbs

14 ozs. she said he had to have the nurses hold her down he was pulling

with

the forcepts so hard. she said it felt like she was being pulled right

off

the table, said the pain felt like her uterus was being ripped out of

her.

so i guess it does make you do some thinking of your own, dont it.

im kind of currious how many chiarians reply to this.
