Guest guest
Hi everyone, Our daughter Susie has just become a candidate for the choclear implant, we have had the audiological evaluation done and we have talked to the surgeon and a few different audiologists and even got to see and hold the implant, and I was just wondering if there are any other parents with charge children who have gone through this? I am very excited but also a little scarred so any advise that you can offer would be very welcome. Thank you, Debbie Cachia.

Guest guest
Hi, actually we live in Ontario, Canada, and are having it done at the hospital for sick children, and we are lucky because Susie has no nurological problems, so she was able to be a candidate, and the screening process here is very strict because the government pays for evrything, so they only do children who will benefit from the implant.
