Guest guest
OK when your LBD loved one is in home Hospice care, when comfort is the only goal and to allow them to pass on - so medical things are stopped - except for Morphine drip and they have not eaten or drank for 6 days and they are 87 years old. This is at home. When they are having seizures, trouble breathing and sounds like could be pnemonia - and Aides, family members and the hospice R.N. comes in Is there any chance that you can catch the pneumonia when someone is dying ever so slowly of it and you are right there with them every day for 6 weeks ? Thanks P.S. As anyone ever tried this and then opted to have them go to a Long Term care wing of nursing home or Hospice at a building - not in the home ? If so how long after the coma has started ? Dad has been in coma for about one week, I think. He was in a kind of coma before, but he would sort of wake when we fed him. Thanks
