I didn't find this group until fairly recently, but wanted to let you know that

my husband, Maurice, age 87, passed away early yesterday morning. I prayed that

he would not have to endure the end stages of this dreadful disease. He

contracted a stomach virus day before yesterday and he could not tolerate it in

his weakened condition. He died at home in his own bed as he fervently wished

to do.

Cassie,

Condolences to you and your family on the passing of your husband.  It was good

to hear he could pass in his own home.

Hugs,

My deepest sympaty in the loss of your husband. I, too, lost my husband in May

and I know how devestating it is despite the fact that you feel they are finally

freed of the shackles of a horible illness.
