My mother in law is at peace

passed very peacefully tonight about 10:30pm. Her daughter and son

in law managed to get a flight and drive up here and had almost 5 hour sitting

with her this afternoon. She was in a coma, strong rhythmic breathing with the

rattles despite atropine but we got past that being unsettling. I am certain

she knew they were here. My husband, one of her caregivers, assorted dogs were

all sitting with her; flameless candles lighting the room softly, many

beautiful Christmas lights and Christmas carols CDs playing softly. When Jewels

Christmas cd played it sounded like angels and mom relaxed even more. I was

getting my infusion most of the evening and just as it was finished she passed.

It was quick, it was peaceful and beautiful and we are so grateful for the help

received here and from her caregivers and from hospice etc.
