Guest guest
Hello, I'm a) fairly new to the group hoping to move soon to be near my grown children; one has an 18 mo. old, and the other is p.g. with triplets! c) i'm in chronic pain, and waiting for report from recent saliva test d) and, therefore would really appreciate any info. that anyone can give me about the various toxins from " artificial " flooring. I have found that the best hard floor for me is one that allows a thicker cushioning under it as opposed to " real " wood which (as I understand it) is laid directly onto the concrete. This may seem like a strange request, but time is running out on me and i don't want to put down something that might contribute to the many health problems that i have or to anyone else who may be spending quite a bit of time in my home. i thought that by putting down an artificial tile or wood with the cushioning, that it would solve the problems with the carpet fumes, toxins, etc. I cannot tolerate " real " tile and doubt that i can tolerate real wood... Does anyone know whether rugs that i could lay down on the " real " floors would also be toxic? Gee, who would have thought that this would be so hard??? I appreciate the group even though a lot of it is still Greek to me! I'm trying to learn and ready to get those test results! Thanks for the site, and for any answers that anyone might be able to provide. lisa1952@...
