Guest guest
That's interesting. Neathery takes 75-100mg.of zinc daily. I remember a funny thing that doesn't have anything to with supplements. When Neathery had her first AIT treatment she started trying different foods. It makes me think that she may not like the way the food sounds inside her head when she eats it - such as crunchy or chewing. She tolerates swallowing but not a lot of chewing. Although, now she loves raw carrot sticks which are crunchy. So, it's funny to me that AIT helped her eat different foods. Shari Re: OT: vegetarian diet for ASD This post reminded me to mention that at the mini-DAN I attended in Little Rock zinc was really touted as often making kids less picky. Guest guest
Sheila, I wish I could answer that. I think our daughter demands it more than I require it. So, she just is happy with the foods that aren't meat. I tried grinding up chicken until it was almost dust one time and put it with potatoes - she spit it out and wouldn't have any of it.
