Guest guest
Find a new doctor - sounds like this one is a real ass!!! I'd change drs and then I'd call the health insurance and tell them why!
Guest guest
Is there any way this woman can see a new doctor? I wouldn't be taking him back to that one. If she feels that her child is on the Spectrum, she is most likely right. Have her have the psychologist refer her elsewhere. Don't know if that helps. Don't know what the situation is in the UK. Guest guest
She needs a new doctor, preferably a ped with ASD experience. Maybe the psychologists can recommend someone? Or, if there is a children's hospital in her area, she could call them for a recommendation. Also, she could complain about this doctor's attitude to the AMA. Being adopted shouldn't make any difference. She has to fight to get her child the necessary treatment, just like all of us. Tell her to hang in there and to trust her own judgement.
