Guest guest
Referring to the " mystery " which is autism seems a way to protect individuals (and their corporations) who profit from patenting, producing, marketing, and/or using toxic molecules. Remarkably, organochlorines are associated not only with thyroid problems but also with metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, diabetes, arthritis, and cardiovascular disease (1-4). The findings of Lee et al (1-4) make clear that diabetes and related physiologies are more related to intra-body organochlorines than to obesity! Whole-text articles for cites 0-2, 4-8 are free online. Consider the pathologies associated with organochlorines, including learning disabilities and ADD (5). Then consider the quantities of pharmaceuticals prescribed and sold in regard to treating pathologies induced by organochlorines. What we have is a humongous level of financial incentives for continuing use of organochlorines and other toxic molecules, for ongoing intoxination of the biosphere and all its inhabitants, including humans. Is it any wonder that corporate subsidiaries known as " regulatory " agencies perpetuate and enforce the myth of " safe " levels? Autism, PCBs, and organochlorines are described in peer-reviewed literature (eg, 6, see also 7-8). - - - - 0.
