Guest guest
Messages sent in HTML come to me as plain text plus an attachment which contains the finished product for HTML coding. Not the coding. I quit opening the ones that show the Internet Explorer icon because they are invariably just copies of the text message preceeding them, along with Yahoo's blurbs . However if there is a jpg or jpeg or other extension on the attachment I do open them. And I do open the url's. Also I have unlimited space in my email program but some people have limited space, (like 6 MB withYahoo) for email. HTML messages take up a tremendous amount of space like one of your messages used three times as much space as it would have using plain text versus HTML. That would be a good reason to reject HTML messages for those who have done so because their mailboxes would not fill up as fast causing messges to bounce. Ora >Nope, Ora , > >it's NOT attachments, perse' it's like I said, I never send attachments, but it's sending in the format of HTML..... (which sometimes shows up as attachments but it's not that I send it that way) Most people are set up to receive HTML as standard else they wouldn't receive any of the many things that come thru in color or script or whatever, (remember when Bunny sent her's that way?) so it's not really a problem for anyone else, just we who 'send' HTML, haha.. and I've set it up just to 'delete' that Mailer Demon so it's no big deal really. YIKES.... haha.. so sorry all this sounds confusing. > ha ha.. > >But your idea of sending URLS is a good idea, though many of my files are older and I've got the full article and not the URL (before I was smart enough to save them, so it wouldn't help me in some instances) ah well. By the way, Yes, I knew Zietel was a member, checked that out a long time ago. at first it threw me too, haha.. > >Dee~
