Guest guest
Channing, I have written back to you privately at least two times previously to talk and respond to your pleas for help and pen pals. You never answered me. When you said you needed a ride to your church group, I wrote to your church and asked for help with that ... then you somehow got yourself banned from that church. You say God doesn't care because He won't fix your digestive problems but who caused those problem and what have YOU done to fix them? If you don't take care of yourself and your own problems, how can God do anything? I, too, am obese. I go to the doctor regularly. He told me my blood pressure and glucose levels are too high. OK. So I learned how to count calories and weight watchers points and I bought a glucose monitor and learned how each food I eat affects my levels. I eat fruits and veggies all day and nothing else except a single serving of a well-rounded dinner. I started walking every day, even tho it hurts my legs horribly because I'm so out of shape. It's hard work but I do the best I can so I don't have health problems as I get older. I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound insensitive but you only post, on various lists, with your desire for chimes and your problems. When people respond, you don't reciprocate. I care about you, or I never would have responed to all your previous posts. I've seen many of your youtube videos and have responded to several of your posts but there are things you must do for yourself, and taking care of your health is one of those things. You say God doesn't care because He won't fix your digestive problems but who caused those problem and what have YOU done to fix them? **I wonder if Channing might have celiac disease. If so then she needs to avoid everything with gluten, like wheat, barley and rye. There is a test that can be done to determine whether she has it. Unfortunately, she lives in a group home, and may have little control over the way meals are prepared. D.
Guest guest
If a group home gets a doctor's diagnosis for someone, I'm sure they must comply with dietary guidelines. If they don't, then they need to be reported to some higher power. Even at that, she should do something about it and, if she needed help with that, I know I'd gladly help there, too.
