Guest guest
I am new to the group. I have Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesia. I am currently seeing a great LLMD and am on several antibiotics. But I think I may be nearing the end of the road in terms of their effectiveness and am thinking it's time to starting using a Rife machine. I have ready Rosner's book, and many of the posts from this group about machines. I know I have had Lyme for many years and have been quite debilitated by it. It is my understanding that to get the deepest penetration, a Doug coil is the way to go. Before I make my purchase, I have some questions. Does the coil touch my body while I am using it? If I have Lyme throughout my body, do I rotate the areas I treat? How about the fan cooled coils? Is it worth the extra cost? Any other input on the coil would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Guest guest
I have the same questions and want to purchase a rife? Jim sent me a list of the ones purchased the buy the group. If anyone can tell me about their success story that would be great...So much info when really sick To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Monday, August 13, 2012 2:54 PM Subject: New to Group, Have Questions about the Doug Coil I am new to the group. Guest guest
Welcome, . Yes, the coil touches your body. I keep a hand towel handy, as the coil heats up over the treatment time and I use the towel to grab and move the coil, and provide an extra layer between the coil and my clothing when I am wearing thin clothing (for when the heat gets a bit much). Yes, you move the coil over different parts of the body. Start with over the liver and work up to 5 minutes there. Then add another body part at a time as you work the time up. I can't answer about the fan cooled coils as I don't have one. If you want to do longer treatment time, you can order two coils and switch when one gets too hot. As you move off antibiotics, you will need to keep an eye on your treatment time and adjust to the amount of herx you experience. Antibiotics send the lyme into cyst form and it will eventually start hatching out. Sherry > > I am new to the group. I have Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesia. Guest guest
Hie and , The EMEM did not touch my paralysis while the coil did Th ecoil touche the skin it is a contact machine , and yes there is a seuqnce to follow to cover the all body. first the tommy then when we get to 2 mn on the tommy we began from the feet and work our way up bu tyou have plety of time befor eyou get here as we are limited in ou rprogression by the herxeimer reaction . Th eperson to whom you will buy th emachine will explain this to you by telephonne it is more easy. The fan on the coil I do not have it . I do not know if it is worth it or not . I went from being paralysed legs and partially hands to not being paralysed at all except for my gut where theborella has its headquater . I was in a deadly situation for one year and it is people of this forum who saved me . I am still pretty sick of chronic fatigue and brain fog . Guest guest
- My machine works a little differently from Sherry's. I have a fan-cooled coil as part of my Doug Coil machine built by Levy. incorporates a sheet of ventilated plexiglass in his coil set-ups, so there is a built-in buffer between the hot coil and your skin. I decided to pay a little extra to get the fan-cooled version because I use it on my face and head and thought it would be more comfortable. I've been really happy with it so far - no fried brains yet! Stphanie > > > > I am new to the group. I have Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesia. Guest guest
Hi ,I, like Sherry have the system which is not fan cooled based on price. I bought 3 coils, so can run my machine for ages using a towel when it heats up then swopping coils...we need a long run time as 5 family members use 1 machine. This works for us. I have never used a fan based one. Guest guest
Hi & , I have the Doug Coil and I would say that the fan added to the coil are worth while. They shouldn't add that much cost to it as they are only a little fan that you might find in the back of the old-day pc's from the 80's, at least on my model. Why I like it bought with the unit instead of adding your own - just one less 'separate' piece of equipment you have to deal with as the chord & fan are actually part of the coil. At most, I'd say it might've added $50 to the cost (not sure as I bought mine used). Because of the fan I can coil longer in some cases, in others (it depends on the freq you're running) it probably doesn't make a difference as the coil only gets warm, not hot. In the cases when it gets hot, I'd say the fan can make a significant difference. I have both a GB4000 and a Doug Coil and I do really believe the DC is a lot more powerful, but also more limited, for a few reasons. Between the two, for Lyme, a DC is definitely the way to go IMHO, but if you wish to treat other pathogens, the GB4000 does have more possibilities. Yes, you do hold the coil against your body, but is still not technically a 'contact' machine as it is strictly using the magnetic field to work, not electrical or radio as the GB4000 does. As a previous post stated, you start with only a few seconds in one area, working up to a couple of minutes, especially if you've got a deep-seated infection. The stomach area is a good area to start in. Then wait at least 2-3 days before trying either more time or another area. My stomach, wrists, ankles, knees, & head are the areas that feel the most from a good coiling. Several headaches (which slowly subsided in intensity & duration each coiling session) later and I was getting a lot of my cognitive abilities back. 2 years ago I felt like a zombie - could barely carry on an intelligent conversation (that' still debatable :-) , now I can say I'm probably 70% on cognitive ability. But I might not ever be back at 100% cause I've got 'other' issues. The only warning about the DC is if/when you us it on your head you wear ear-plugs or some type of hearing protection (I've even used my fingers as you're only doing it for a couple mins) as depending on the freq it can put out a rather strong high-pitched whine. One of the things to watch for is when I coiled too much, it stressed my spleen noticeably - so don't want to push it too much. Now I watch that and NEVER rife when you are already herxing. You need to give your body a chance to recover & detox before your next rife. Most of the time I wait a week so my body can recover fully and I can enjoy a day or two of feeling 'better' before I rife again and causing another herx. Guest guest
Thank you!! I just bought a DC from L today. This group has been great.
