Val,I am at an Urgent Care down the street from my house and just gave this doc my history. He actually knows about all of this. I am here today because i have a sinus infection and had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday, and don't want the infection to spread. He told me:-I am dehydrated, which is why my pulse is now 135-My increased heart rate could be due to the Rt3, dehydration, and adrenal-lack of salt-had the nurse take my pulse and heart rate standing/laying (i about died)-mentioned that I might not be on enough HC, and might need to add another steriod called hydra-f something to help w/the HC and regulation? That this will help w/salt balence since i am always dehydrated, yet blow up when i take salt.-this could also help lower the pulse and make me feel well-he is checking for pre-diabetic, said they go hand in hand...is ths true?I think I might start seeing him as my doc. The other one is good, but not nearly as well versed, and he seems to know alot, including about RT3, adrenals, and what is going on w/my body right now.Can you tell me if this other HC like steriod is used by anyone else w/luck?FludrocortosoneI am now, and always have been concerned with the high pulse. Have not tested the RT3 in about a month, but should be due at end of Sept. Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2008 7:35 AMTo: RT3_T3 Subject: Re: Anyone Added SR T3 to Cynomel Dose?Hi Tasia..... I think Lowe has it right when it comes to what T3 resistant folks need, all cytomel, a blast dose.... he likes all in one a.m. dose. I prefer 3 doses. (35, 35, 35- sometimes 35, 30, 35) But I am always open to experiment. So far my 105 mcg Cytomel and 35 SRT3 is working. I am tempted to totally drop out the SR altogether. I was worried about the short half life of T3, yet read Lowe's comment about once T3 is in the cells it's metabolic impact lasts a lot longer than the T3. I have been unable to take T3 past 3 p.m. Not sure why, but it clearly keeps me awake. Have not gone with all T3 as of yet. Will let you know when I do!! I imagine I will have to up my cytomel by half the SR dose.-AGIf I understand your dosing correctly...you get 35mcg SR T3 and 70mcgCytomel total per day. Do you also take another 35mcg SR T3 at night? Have you experimentedand noticed any difference if you take out all SR T3? Tasia [The entire original message is not included]
