Guest guest
Dr. McCandless, As you know, many parents are using IV EDTA and/or IV DMPS to remove metals. Most that I know are doing this on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. And, many are seeing good metal pulls. Here's my question. When parents see good metal pulls, say on a bi-weekly basis, would it be wise to utilize a more gentle chelator during the in-between days to mop up any stray metals, thus preventing redistribution? We have been using daily low dose oral EDTA except on the IV EDTA days and I think that would cover stray lead dumping between IVs. But, what about stray Mercury? We have seen rashes on DMSA, so we were thinking of using TD DMPS daily to mop up since it bypasses the gut. Your thoughts? L
