We have a tea available here called Tulsi Tea--the main ingredient is Holy

Basil. We buy it mixed with green tea. I also have a supplement, made by NOW,

which helps immensely with pain and inflammation--the main ingredient is Holy

Basil.

When herbs are too old they turn dark and shrink. If they are in a capsule it

is very easy to see that they have shriveled into a clump. In a teabag it's not

as noticeable.

Most things are still good a year or more after the expiration date. But they

will gradually lose their effectiveness over time. So after 2 months there

should be very little change.
