Guest guest
The really cool thing, Cheryl, is that this time I'm not all bummed out on myself. I think that being part of this group is helping change that for me. Working together to stay with it, forgive ourselves, and keep on has been so educational for me, to say nothing of healing. Today you help me. Tomorrow I help you. Day after that we help some one else. It so, SO helps to not be doing this alone! One of my biggest problems is being a perfectionist about myself, and never living up to my own standards! When I help other people be okay with not being perfect I'm then able to give myself the same message. (Guess that's why I'm becoming a counselor... And I think it doesn't take a genius to figure out that this principle applies to all the rest of life . . . So thanks, one more time, for the helping hand and words of encouragement. Standing by with a hand ready, when it's needed for some one else, Trish > Been there done that. We are not perfect but we do strive for perfection.... > at least most of the time ;o) > Cheryl Ü > > << > Thanks, Cheryl. The complete irony, however, is that yesterday I was > cheering Carol on, and today I fell off the wagon. Sigh. >>
