Hey Barbara,

For bartonella (because it reproduces so quickly) you need to do two treatments

a day - as you mentioned below you are doing. :)

I also worked up to two - 30 min. treatments (per day), although my ratios were

slightly different in the sense that I worked up to 10 minutes on the liver,

then 20 minutes the rest of the body. So again, the below is what I did twice a

day at 832 Hz (again keeping the amperage around 12.5A-13A):

Day Area of Body Duration

---- ------------ --------

1 Liver 30 sec.

2 " 1 min.

3 " 2 min.

4 " 3 min.

5 " 4 min.

6 " 5 min.

7 " 6 min.

8 " 7 min.

9 " 8 min.

10 " 9 min.

11 " 10 min.

12 Liver 10 min.

Upper Body 1 min.

13 Liver 10 min.

Upper Body 1 min.

Lower Body 1 min.

14 Liver 10 min.

Upper Body 2 min.

Lower Body 1 min.

15 Liver 10 min.

Upper Body 2 min.

Lower Body 2 min.

I continued this pattern (increasing a minute per day - for both the 'am' & 'pm'

rifing sessions) until the Liver, Upper Body, and Lower Body were all at 10

minutes each.

I stayed at the above for roughly 7 months (after 6.5 months I wasn't really

herxing anymore at that frequency, but kept it up for an extra 2 weeks just to

be safe).

Then I added an extra frequency (1518 Hz) to each session (am & pm) in the

following way:

Day Area of Body Duration

---- ------------ --------

1 Liver 30 sec.

2 " 1 min.

3 " 2 min.

4 " 3 min.

5 " 4 min.

6 " 5 min.

After I hit the 5 min. mark for the liver (for the 1518 Hz), as well as doing

the 30 min. at 832 Hz - even though I wasn't really herxing (for either

frequency) I kept it up for 2 more weeks.

At such time, I ceased rifing treatment for the bartonella. Like the babesia -

that was about 8 months ago.

- the bottom of the feet quit hurting

- pseudo-seizures disappeared

- general and acute anxiety have SIGNIFICANTLY reduced

- the typical 'cat scratch' rashes are gone, etc, etc....

All the main bartonella symptoms have been gone for over 8.5 months now! :)

Regards,

P.S. - Hopefully in the above post I answered most of your questions - if not

let me know. ;)

Yes, I had heating issues with my coil as well. Which is why (especially for

the frequencies > 1000 Hz) I had to limit the individual sessions to roughly 5

min., then allow it to cool down for say 5 min. before proceeding.

hi ryan,so, you were doing 10 min. on the liver at 832.  in the beginning, when i started 3 yrs ago, doing more than 2 min. on the liver was only for babs.  just recently (4mo. or so) i read where they were doing 5 min on the liver for bart.  so i upped it.  but you did 10 min. on the liver for bart also.

i thought i read that you alternated 832 and 1518.  one in the a.m. and the other in the  p.m.

did i misread the previous posts?    did you actually do each of them a.m. and p.m. ?  i had been doing this and was hoping i could alternate them.  shall i do each one morning and evening then?  if this is what you did, i shall too.

also, i have read that there are 12 body parts to do.  if 2 min each that is still 24 min.  i know i do more than that overall.  well, i will increase to 10 on the liver for 832 and continue 5 on the liver for 1518.

i've treated for this 'bugger' for 3 yrs now, sure hope this time it works.  i don't mind coiling if i can see some results, an end.  but it is discouraging, as i would like to get on to lyme where i know many problems are.

'thanks for the infobarbara

Yes, 10 min. on the liver (at 832) - twice a day. Maybe it was overkill, but my

reasoning behind it was that like babesia (a parasite), bartonella (a bacteria)

also infects the red blood cells.

I had read elsewhere - to get rid of babesia one needed to work up to a 10 min.

rifing session on the liver (as well as 5-10 min. on the rest of the body) -

once, every two days.

But bartonella reproduces MUCH faster. Even rifing for it once a day for it, I

found that I wasn't making much progress - so I increased it to twice a day. At

this point I felt that I was started to make headway.

Accordingly putting these two pieces of information together I decided to rife

the liver for 10 min. (twice daily) at 832 Hz.

> i thought i read that you alternated 832 and 1518. one in the a.m. and

Towards the end, when I was rifing for 'Babesia' I alternated frequencies on

alternate days (ie - Day 1: 570 Hz, Day 2: 1583 Hz, Day 3: 570 Hz, Day 4: 1583

Hz, etc.....). But that was ONLY after my gains plateaued, and herxing stopped

by rifing at exclusively 570 Hz for the babesia.

For the 'Bartonella', it was both 'am' & 'pm' sessions (every day) that I rifed

at 832 Hz. Once again - when the gains plateaued, and herxing stopped, only

then did I start to add in the 1518 - for both the 'am' & 'pm' sessions (in

addition to the 832 for both sessions).

It should also be noted - that this is ALOT of rifing for one organ. So to help

protect the liver - I was taking Milk Thistle and Dandelion Root daily.

Maybe I'd suggest that once you go 2-3 weeks herx free at those frequencies - to

take a break from the rifing (at least for the Bart). Transition into trying

out Byron White's A-Bart Formula for awhile.

Max. dose is 20 drops twice daily. Start at 1 drop (or less) a day & then

increase the dosage 'slowly' from there. More information regarding A-Bart:

hi ryan,i'll look into the b.whites formula.  my problem is that i only herx for a wk or so then nothing.  at least i think there is nothing.  my herxes come mainly with the 30 attacks i get.  all the herxes do this.  if i don't treat the attacks get worse.  if i am in a herx, the attacks get worse.  the only difference is a slight headache.  and if i blow the candida diet, those symptoms are the same as a herx for me.  it does get confusing.

sound like i am doing what you were doing, just not enough on the liver.  and actually, i have treated every day for babs instead of every other day.  so, i guess were about the same.

i am curious about your pseudo-seizures.  i have had seizures and convulsions with the benzo withdrawal.  what are yours like?  how often?  with a herx or just whenever? thanks so much for the info.

take care,barbara

Hi barbara, If u ever do decide to try the byron white formulas feel free to

private message me....I have learned quite a bit about them. I have been on

them for 7 months and my son (4-months). Hmmmmm...I go through a lot in a

day....but have made some good progress. I am happy with them...but will be

much happier when it's gone, like everyone else! Take care, Jodie L.

hi jodie, was wondering where you were.  haven't heard from you in a while.  glad to hear you are making progress.  how is wyatt?    i will contact you about the b.w. formula.

ohhhh!!!  tonight will be my first night without any valium.  i have tapered down to just a piece of a pill.  have done better with it lately, so have made the tapers every week instead of every 2 wks.  not anticipating any problems other than just some slight  stuff.  this last couple months i have improved in mental mood and physical ability.  although, going so long without doing much, it is sometimes hard to get back into doing stuff. habits !!   then there are the lyme 'stuff'.

barbara

Hi barbara, If u ever do decide to try the byron white formulas feel free to private message me....I have learned quite a bit about them. I have been on them for 7 months and my son (4-months). Hmmmmm...I go through a lot in a day....but have made some good progress. I am happy with them...but will be much happier when it's gone, like everyone else! Take care, Jodie L.

I am so glad (valium taper!)....YEAH! That must feel great....u have earned it,

that is for sure! I hear ya on habit...I think we all have a hard time breaking

those! Must feel great to have more ability.....I have thought about u many

times wondering how u were doing...just didn't have the time to write! You are

always welcome to privately email me....even if it's just to vent! Take care

and keep in touch. Wyatt and I walk to the end of our road and back (2-3 times a

Hey Barbara,

> i am curious about your pseudo-seizures. i have had seizures and

> convulsions with the benzo withdrawal. what are yours like?

Here's a brief description of my attacks/pseudo-seizures:

1) First they always start with pain (or an 'uncomfortable' feeling) in the pit

of stomach.

2) Then usually 30-60 seconds later the heart palpitations start, and the

feeling of fear or danger kicks in (even if there's no reasons for it).

3) Shortly thereafter the heavy sweats kick in.

If I haven't regained control by this point then it escalates from the above

(standard anxiety attack symptom) to the below:

4) Unable to speak. Lots of chatter going on in the mind, you're 'trying' to

speak - but nothing comes out!

5) The twitches/ticks kick in, especially on the left-hand side of the body.

6) Then the voice returns - but it's now a stutter

This is the 'no return' point, if I haven't regained control by this point then

it turns into a full fledged seizure.

7) If I am standing, or sitting the muscles just give out - I collapse on the

floor.

8) Then I continue to convulse any where from 2-10 minutes longer, usually also

stuttering all the while.

From here, if I continue to 'resist' after the 10 minutes or so:

9a) I'll pass out - cold. Then come around 30 minutes later.

OR

9b) If I finally 'give in' and don't resist - then the convulsions will finally

pass (without me blacking out). But the muscles would usually be weak, a good

10-15 minutes more until I could push myself up off the floor. Sweating like

there's no tomorrow as well!

__________________________

Now luckily only the first two attacks (about 5 months after I was bitten by the

infected tick) resulted in me passing out. They happened back-to-back 12 hours

apart. Dec. 31st, 2006 & Jan. 1st, 2007. They were the first anxiety/panic

attacks, seizures, and blackouts I had ever had. Then got them all rolled into

one! (LOL - lucky me!)

At the time I didn't know what was happening to me. Was I having a stroke, or a

seizure? Was I going to die? All these ideas were flying through my mind at

the time - probably which didn't help the situation. It was after realizing

that I wasn't going to die, that there wasn't any immediate danger, and to just

'wait it out' - that I no longer blacked out for any of the subsequent

attacks....

> how often?

> with a herx or just whenever?

In the months/years that followed these were the trends that I noticed:

- guaranteed to have at least one (sometimes 2) around the full moon flare ups

- sometimes (but not always) would happen around the new moon as well

- times when I was really, REALLY stressed out or burning the candle at both

ends (which usually included not getting enough sleep, food, etc...)

- often happened as part of a herx as well (particularly if I was doing an

especially heavy rifing session for babesia, and bartonella - to a lesser

degree)

So anywhere from 1 to 10 attacks a month depending on how stressed I was, how my

diet was, how much sleep I was getting, how bad I was herxing, etc, etc....

___________________________

I came across this article around May 2007 that made me convinced once and for

all that I had Lyme and co-infections (since my attacks matched so closely with

these patients):

http://www.lymepa.org/05%20Panic%20attacks%20may%20reveal%20previously%20unsuspe\

cted%20chronic%20disseminated%20Lyme%20disease.pdf

But as I continued to rife (especially for the babesia & bartonella) the

severity & duration of the attacks continued a diminish.

Once I stopped rifing for the babesia & bartonella - over 8 months ago, I

haven't had any attacks that included #3 or higher in the list above. Items

#1-2 would be classified as standard anxiety attack symptoms. But even they

have lessened to the point now that it is once (two tops) per month, which

happen on or shortly thereafter the full moon. They are only 30-60 seconds in

duration as well. :)

hi ryan, wow!!!   your symptoms sound as bazare as mine, except i didn't have the seizures until i was going through the benzo withdrawal.  i wish i had been able to find that article in the early-mid 2000s as i spend a couple yrs searching for such.  i was desperate to find out why i had these weird symptoms that over 25 drs and surgery could not find/dx.

i've listed mine several times hoping to find someone with similar symptoms.  you are the first.here is what mine were/are:from somewhere around 2000-2002 i started to get 'hot'.  because of my age, early 50's, they thought it hormonal and kept upping my hrt.  but the symptoms kept progressing.  they would began with a subtle internal feeling as if a switch went off in me.  they would come every 30 min 24/7, without fail.

1.  anxiety without a cause2.  air hunger3.  nausea4.  heart palps5.  sweating, to where my glasses would steam up.  my skin would be wet.

these were so severe sometimes that i had to lay down, sometimes on the ground if i was outside.  some times i went to the fire dept. because of the severe heart symptoms.  if in the heat i've had to be doused with water or get in a cold shower or i thought i would die.

these lasted about 10+ min.  it would take at least 5 min. of recovery time.  then shortly after i would get chills so bad i would get 'goose bumps.'  then about 5-10 min. later, the cycle would begin again.  so all in all, i had about 10 min per every 30 that i could function.  in the car the heat/air conditioner controls were constantly alternated along with my layer clothing.  my life centered around the symptoms and my crazy drive to find the cause.  i drove everyone nuts.

when i went through an acute withdrawal from a benzo i had the seizures alternating with the catatonic states and 'crazy' speech they labeled 'flight of ideas'.  benzo w/d will give seizures.  in the 18 mos. of slow tapered w/d,  many of the months  i have experience the seizures when i tapered.  i now wonder if the lyme/cos had an influence on that as my taper has been difficult.

on the dr. phil show that centered around lyme, one patient experience seizures.  after reading the article, i think these crazy symptoms of ours are the babs.  my llmd thought because of the cyclical  nature of my symptoms it was babs.  all my herxes have revolved around these attacks as the herx made them worse, but it was still hard to tell what was a herx or what was the regular attack.  the attacks would also get worse, as was yours, with less sleep, food, especially carbs, stress, activity, etc.

yesterday i did my first coiling with the 1583 you (and others) have suggested for babs.  i did a healthy coil as i figured my load is considerably reduced because of the yrs of coiling and the less symptoms and intensity.  i wanted to feel a good herx if the freq. was a good one for me.

this morning i woke with a headache, one of the few symptoms definitely related to a herx. outside the attacks. now today, i'm starting to feel sicker, headache, heart palps, hip pain/weakness. shaky, nausea. sensations in my chest.

i have had several days of feeling well since being off the benzo, and now am feeling so sick.  i am excited to feel this sick.  (is that sick or what to be glad to feel sick!).  in fact, i'm starting to feel so sick that i'm going to stay down for the rest of the day.  yes!! this is great!!

this is the first significant reaction i've experienced for yrs of coiling after the initial herxes.  it tells me that what i'm hitting may be the rest of the cause of these attacks.

i want to thank you so much for sharing your story.  its amazing how just knowing someone out there is experiencing what i have for yrs. helps to bring peace.  i'm so sorry you have had to go through this also.  thank you again for sharing.

barbara

hi jodie, good to hear from you.  i have often thought of you and wyatt also.his being active is actually really good.  at least he has the energy to do something.  that is encouraging.  i know i'ts hard on you when you don't have the energy.

i would think it difficult for a child to go through treatment.  it's hard for us and we understand, but for them, they don't understand it fully.  i so admire all the mothers here that walk the road you do.

did you ever get moved?it sounds like you two are doing better.  have you been successful treating the bart?  if so, what have you done?  or where are you in this battle?

as you can read in my post to ryan,  i have tried the 1583 for babs that is definitely getting a healthy hit.  so encouraging to be sick again.  sick CAN be good sometimes. so very glad i know about good detox now.  and glad i had some good days prior to this though.

take carebarbara

hi ryan, wow!!!   your symptoms sound as bazare as mine, except i didn't have the seizures until i was going through the benzo withdrawal.  i wish i had been able to find that article in the early-mid 2000s as i spend a couple yrs searching for such.  i was desperate to find out why i had these weird symptoms that over 25 drs and surgery could not find/dx.

i've listed mine several times hoping to find someone with similar symptoms.  you are the first.here is what mine were/are:from somewhere around 2000-2002 i started to get 'hot'.  because of my age, early 50's, they thought it hormonal and kept upping my hrt.  but the symptoms kept progressing.  they would began with a subtle internal feeling as if a switch went off in me.  they would come every 30 min 24/7, without fail.

1.  anxiety without a cause2.  air hunger3.  nausea4.  heart palps5.  sweating, to where my glasses would steam up.  my skin would be wet.

these were so severe sometimes that i had to lay down, sometimes on the ground if i was outside.  some times i went to the fire dept. because of the severe heart symptoms.  if in the heat i've had to be doused with water or get in a cold shower or i thought i would die.

these lasted about 10+ min.  it would take at least 5 min. of recovery time.  then shortly after i would get chills so bad i would get 'goose bumps.'  then about 5-10 min. later, the cycle would begin again.  so all in all, i had about 10 min per every 30 that i could function.  in the car the heat/air conditioner controls were constantly alternated along with my layer clothing.  my life centered around the symptoms and my crazy drive to find the cause.  i drove everyone nuts.

when i went through an acute withdrawal from a benzo i had the seizures alternating with the catatonic states and 'crazy' speech they labeled 'flight of ideas'.  benzo w/d will give seizures.  in the 18 mos. of slow tapered w/d,  many of the months  i have experience the seizures when i tapered.  i now wonder if the lyme/cos had an influence on that as my taper has been difficult.

on the dr. phil show that centered around lyme, one patient experience seizures.  after reading the article, i think these crazy symptoms of ours are the babs.  my llmd thought because of the cyclical  nature of my symptoms it was babs.  all my herxes have revolved around these attacks as the herx made them worse, but it was still hard to tell what was a herx or what was the regular attack.  the attacks would also get worse, as was yours, with less sleep, food, especially carbs, stress, activity, etc.

yesterday i did my first coiling with the 1583 you (and others) have suggested for babs.  i did a healthy coil as i figured my load is considerably reduced because of the yrs of coiling and the less symptoms and intensity.  i wanted to feel a good herx if the freq. was a good one for me.

this morning i woke with a headache, one of the few symptoms definitely related to a herx. outside the attacks. now today, i'm starting to feel sicker, headache, heart palps, hip pain/weakness. shaky, nausea. sensations in my chest.

i have had several days of feeling well since being off the benzo, and now am feeling so sick.  i am excited to feel this sick.  (is that sick or what to be glad to feel sick!).  in fact, i'm starting to feel so sick that i'm going to stay down for the rest of the day.  yes!! this is great!!

this is the first significant reaction i've experienced for yrs of coiling after the initial herxes.  it tells me that what i'm hitting may be the rest of the cause of these attacks.

i want to thank you so much for sharing your story.  its amazing how just knowing someone out there is experiencing what i have for yrs. helps to bring peace.  i'm so sorry you have had to go through this also.  thank you again for sharing.

barbara

Hey Barbara,

> i am curious about your pseudo-seizures. i have had seizures and

> convulsions with the benzo withdrawal. what are yours like?

Here's a brief description of my attacks/pseudo-seizures:

1) First they always start with pain (or an 'uncomfortable' feeling) in the pit of stomach.

2) Then usually 30-60 seconds later the heart palpitations start, and the feeling of fear or danger kicks in (even if there's no reasons for it).

3) Shortly thereafter the heavy sweats kick in.

If I haven't regained control by this point then it escalates from the above (standard anxiety attack symptom) to the below:

4) Unable to speak. Lots of chatter going on in the mind, you're 'trying' to speak - but nothing comes out!

5) The twitches/ticks kick in, especially on the left-hand side of the body.

6) Then the voice returns - but it's now a stutter

This is the 'no return' point, if I haven't regained control by this point then it turns into a full fledged seizure.

7) If I am standing, or sitting the muscles just give out - I collapse on the floor.

8) Then I continue to convulse any where from 2-10 minutes longer, usually also stuttering all the while.

From here, if I continue to 'resist' after the 10 minutes or so:

9a) I'll pass out - cold. Then come around 30 minutes later.

OR

9b) If I finally 'give in' and don't resist - then the convulsions will finally pass (without me blacking out). But the muscles would usually be weak, a good 10-15 minutes more until I could push myself up off the floor. Sweating like there's no tomorrow as well!

__________________________

Now luckily only the first two attacks (about 5 months after I was bitten by the infected tick) resulted in me passing out. They happened back-to-back 12 hours apart. Dec. 31st, 2006 & Jan. 1st, 2007. They were the first anxiety/panic attacks, seizures, and blackouts I had ever had. Then got them all rolled into one! (LOL - lucky me!)

At the time I didn't know what was happening to me. Was I having a stroke, or a seizure? Was I going to die? All these ideas were flying through my mind at the time - probably which didn't help the situation. It was after realizing that I wasn't going to die, that there wasn't any immediate danger, and to just 'wait it out' - that I no longer blacked out for any of the subsequent attacks....

> how often?

> with a herx or just whenever?

In the months/years that followed these were the trends that I noticed:

- guaranteed to have at least one (sometimes 2) around the full moon flare ups

- sometimes (but not always) would happen around the new moon as well

- times when I was really, REALLY stressed out or burning the candle at both ends (which usually included not getting enough sleep, food, etc...)

- often happened as part of a herx as well (particularly if I was doing an especially heavy rifing session for babesia, and bartonella - to a lesser degree)

So anywhere from 1 to 10 attacks a month depending on how stressed I was, how my diet was, how much sleep I was getting, how bad I was herxing, etc, etc....

___________________________

I came across this article around May 2007 that made me convinced once and for all that I had Lyme and co-infections (since my attacks matched so closely with these patients):

http://www.lymepa.org/05%20Panic%20attacks%20may%20reveal%20previously%20unsuspected%20chronic%20disseminated%20Lyme%20disease.pdf

But as I continued to rife (especially for the babesia & bartonella) the severity & duration of the attacks continued a diminish.

Once I stopped rifing for the babesia & bartonella - over 8 months ago, I haven't had any attacks that included #3 or higher in the list above. Items #1-2 would be classified as standard anxiety attack symptoms. But even they have lessened to the point now that it is once (two tops) per month, which happen on or shortly thereafter the full moon. They are only 30-60 seconds in duration as well. :)

Hey Barbara,

The yo-yo'ing up and down between almost a heavy fever & extreme chills every 30

min. - thanks for reminding me. I had those same symptoms for a few weeks

leading up to my first attack/seizure. After which they seemed to taper off.

They seemed to die-off as mysteriously as they came on, 'never did pin down

their exact cause...

> 1. anxiety without a cause

> 2. air hunger

> 3. nausea

> 4. heart palps

> 5. sweating, to where my glasses would steam up. my skin would be wet.

These are all 'classic' babesia symptoms. The nausea fortunately I never had

'too' bad, but definitely the other 4 for sure. They all seemed to disappear

when I killed off the babesia through rifing at 570 & 1583Hz. At least the air

hunger, heart palps & sweating. The 'anxiety without a cause' definitely

improved alot as well - probably about a 60% improvement. Then it improved even

more when I finished rifing for the bartonella as well (general & acute anxiety

are symptoms for both bab & bart, but in my experience bab was the greater of

the two evils in this regard).

> this morning i woke with a headache, one of the few symptoms definitely

That sounds like a good babesia herx to me. :)

From what I recall my babesia herxes were typically: headaches, heart palps,

muscle weakness, shakes, and increased general anxiety.

Believe me - I can relate! *LOL*

Glad to hear that the 1583 is working for you though. :)

Barbara, I am still in my healing journey. I am taking the Byron white formulas

and still dealing with bart, babs, parsites, staph, and ebv(herpes-virus's).

These pathogens are all in my 1st level of healing and are dealing dealt

with..UGG!

I have made a big dent but I am still a work in progress! I think I've cut about

50 percent of my bart/babs load. Mine was pretty extreme! is correct...u

don't necessarily have to suffer to make progress with the Byron white's but I'm

on enough formulas and drops per day....that I have symptoms....! I do however

have some times that I feel pretty good,-almost normal(whatever that is....been

sick my whole life, lol). Others....well...not so pleasant-usually pushing too

hard and in a herxe!

I muscle test both Wyatt and I....but it's easier to do with myself.

Wyatt...whew! When his ocd-rigidity kicks in....it can be hell...the

nasties....we both know what that is like but he doesn't understand...and I go

through hell! Bart. in a 6 year old....anyways. Glad u are making progress

and going forward again. I will keep in touch....and I hope u are still going

in the right direction. Wyatt wants my attention, lol! Take care, Jodie L.

i've listed mine several times hoping to find someone with similar symptoms. you are the first.

here is what mine were/are:

from somewhere around 2000-2002 i started to get 'hot'. because of my age, early 50's, they thought it hormonal and kept upping my hrt. but the symptoms kept progressing. they would began with a subtle internal feeling as if a switch went off in me. they would come every 30 min 24/7, without fail.

1. anxiety without a cause

2. air hunger

3. nausea

4. heart palps

5. sweating, to where my glasses would steam up. my skin would be wet.

these were so severe sometimes that i had to lay down, sometimes on the ground if i was outside. some times i went to the fire dept. because of the severe heart symptoms. if in the heat i've had to be doused with water or get in a cold shower or i thought i would die.

these lasted about 10+ min. it would take at least 5 min. of recovery time. then shortly after i would get chills so bad i would get 'goose bumps.' then about 5-10 min. later, the cycle would begin again. so all in all, i had about 10 min per every 30 that i could function. in the car the heat/air conditioner controls were constantly alternated along with my layer clothing. my life centered around the symptoms and my crazy drive to find the cause. i drove everyone nuts.

when i went through an acute withdrawal from a benzo i had the seizures alternating with the catatonic states and 'crazy' speech they labeled 'flight of ideas'. benzo w/d will give seizures. in the 18 mos. of slow tapered w/d, many of the months i have experience the seizures when i tapered. i now wonder if the lyme/cos had an influence on that as my taper has been difficult.

on the dr. phil show that centered around lyme, one patient experience seizures.

after reading the article, i think these crazy symptoms of ours are the babs. my llmd thought because of the cyclical nature of my symptoms it was babs. all my herxes have revolved around these attacks as the herx made them worse, but it was still hard to tell what was a herx or what was the regular attack. the attacks would also get worse, as was yours, with less sleep, food, especially carbs, stress, activity, etc.

yesterday i did my first coiling with the 1583 you (and others) have suggested for babs. i did a healthy coil as i figured my load is considerably reduced because of the yrs of coiling and the less symptoms and intensity. i wanted to feel a good herx if the freq. was a good one for me.

this morning i woke with a headache, one of the few symptoms definitely related to a herx. outside the attacks. now today, i'm starting to feel sicker, headache, heart palps, hip pain/weakness. shaky, nausea. sensations in my chest.

i have had several days of feeling well since being off the benzo, and now am feeling so sick. i am excited to feel this sick.

Hey Barbara,

> i am curious about your pseudo-seizures. i have had seizures and> convulsions with the benzo withdrawal. what are yours like? Here's a brief description of my attacks/pseudo-seizures:1) First they always start with pain (or an 'uncomfortable' feeling) in the pit of stomach.2) Then usually 30-60 seconds later the heart palpitations start, and the feeling of fear or danger kicks in (even if there's no reasons for it).3) Shortly thereafter the heavy sweats kick in.If I haven't regained control by this point then it escalates from the above (standard anxiety attack symptom) to the below:4) Unable to speak. Lots of chatter going on in the mind, you're 'trying' to speak - but nothing comes out!5) The twitches/ticks kick in, especially on the left-hand side of the body.6) Then the voice returns - but it's now a stutter This is the 'no return' point, if I

haven't regained control by this point then it turns into a full fledged seizure. 7) If I am standing, or sitting the muscles just give out - I collapse on the floor.8) Then I continue to convulse any where from 2-10 minutes longer, usually also stuttering all the while. From here, if I continue to 'resist' after the 10 minutes or so:9a) I'll pass out - cold. Then come around 30 minutes later.OR9b) If I finally 'give in' and don't resist - then the convulsions will finally pass (without me blacking out). But the muscles would usually be weak, a good 10-15 minutes more until I could push myself up off the floor. Sweating like there's no tomorrow as well!__________________________Now luckily only the first two attacks (about 5 months after I was bitten by the infected tick) resulted in me passing out. They happened back-to-back 12 hours apart. Dec. 31st, 2006 & Jan. 1st, 2007. They were the

first anxiety/panic attacks, seizures, and blackouts I had ever had. Then got them all rolled into one! (LOL - lucky me!)At the time I didn't know what was happening to me. Was I having a stroke, or a seizure? Was I going to die? All these ideas were flying through my mind at the time - probably which didn't help the situation. It was after realizing that I wasn't going to die, that there wasn't any immediate danger, and to just 'wait it out' - that I no longer blacked out for any of the subsequent attacks....

> how often?> with a herx or just whenever? In the months/years that followed these were the trends that I noticed:- guaranteed to have at least one (sometimes 2) around the full moon flare ups- sometimes (but not always) would happen around the new moon as well- times when I was really, REALLY stressed out or burning the candle at both ends (which usually included not getting enough sleep, food, etc...)- often happened as part of a herx as well (particularly if I was doing an especially heavy rifing session for babesia, and bartonella - to a lesser degree) So anywhere from 1 to 10 attacks a month depending on how stressed I was, how my diet was, how much sleep I was getting, how bad I was herxing, etc, etc.... ___________________________I came across this article around May 2007 that made me convinced once and for all that I had Lyme and co-infections (since my

attacks matched so closely with these patients):http://www.lymepa.org/05%20Panic%20attacks%20may%20reveal%20previously%20unsuspected%20chronic%20disseminated%20Lyme%20disease.pdfBut as I continued to rife (especially for the babesia & bartonella) the severity & duration of the attacks continued a diminish.Once I stopped rifing for the babesia & bartonella - over 8 months ago, I haven't had any attacks that included #3 or higher in the list above. Items #1-2 would be classified as standard anxiety attack symptoms. But even they have lessened to the point now that it is once (two tops) per month, which happen on or shortly thereafter the full moon. They are only 30-60 seconds in duration as well. :)Regards,

hi darla, was just rereading this thread.  you said:>>>>>anxiety, air hunger, heart palp, & the sweats & i get so hot i feel like i will burst into flames,

do you have babesia or just bart????  sounds like babs. sounds like me. this all sounds so miserable, i understand.

does the sweating get worse at night or is it more even all day?  how often do you feel like this.  is it cyclical during the day/night? any pattern to these symptoms?

when i recently added 1583 coiling for babs  i started getting really hot inside again and the evening/night sweats increased.  this showed me i still have more babs hiding.  i had used 570 for yrs and had stopped herxing with it, but if i stopped coiling i would herx when i restarted again.  same with bart. (used 832 for yrs, then recently added 1518 and herxed again)  very frustrating and confusing.

Hi Barbara & , I want to say thanks for sharing your stories! I felt like I was going crazy & when expressed what i was going thru to my friends & a couple people in my family & i got to the point that i just say i'm too sick to get out of bed or leave my house whatever the situation is. I also have the symptoms that yinz described, I also have the neuro symptoms, my feet drive me almost over the edge sometimes, the pain & the burning hurts so bad!! I read the other day the S/S of Bartonella & I have those symptoms too, I was diagnosed with Late stage lyme a year ago almost to the day. I went misdiagnosed for about 15 yrs & when i was diagnosed i could walk about 2 steps & couldnt talk without stuttering or lose concentration & would forget what i was

saying, I also had 3 psychotic episodes & that was terrifying...Well i have had alot of improvements in a year but i still have alot of symptoms, like the anxiety, air hunger, heart palp, & the sweats & i get so hot i feel like i will burst into flames, so with having this very hot summer i dont leave my house usually. I read about the rife & doug coil i dont have either one of them, i'm not really sure about the prices, so any feedback would be appreciated thanks.............Hugs......

Hey Barbara,

The yo-yo'ing up and down between almost a heavy fever & extreme chills every 30 min. - thanks for reminding me. I had those same symptoms for a few weeks leading up to my first attack/seizure. After which they seemed to taper off. They seemed to die-off as mysteriously as they came on, 'never did pin down their exact cause...

> 1. anxiety without a cause

> 2. air hunger

> 4. heart palps

These are all 'classic' babesia symptoms. The nausea fortunately I never had 'too' bad, but definitely the other 4 for sure. They all seemed to disappear when I killed off the babesia through rifing at 570 & 1583Hz. At least the air hunger, heart palps & sweating. The 'anxiety without a cause' definitely improved alot as well - probably about a 60% improvement. Then it improved even more when I finished rifing for the bartonella as well (general & acute anxiety are symptoms for both bab & bart, but in my experience bab was the greater of the two evils in this regard).

That sounds like a good babesia herx to me. :)

From what I recall my babesia herxes were typically: headaches, heart palps, muscle weakness, shakes, and increased general anxiety.

Believe me - I can relate! *LOL*

Glad to hear that the 1583 is working for you though. :)

Does bart hang out strongly in the liver, or are you just seeking to catch the blood flow there?  Would be curious to see a body map/chart.  I've just been coiling the abdomen and can only tolerate short times.  So far i just stick with my tolerance level there; wondering if adding in more distal areas would increase herx symptoms significantly or are some areas easier to treat than others The abdomen is a real hotbed. Thanks for you info!

Hey Barbara,

Yes, 10 min. on the liver (at 832) - twice a day. Maybe it was overkill, but my reasoning behind it was that like babesia (a parasite), bartonella (a bacteria) also infects the red blood cells.

I had read elsewhere - to get rid of babesia one needed to work up to a 10 min. rifing session on the liver (as well as 5-10 min. on the rest of the body) - once, every two days.

But bartonella reproduces MUCH faster. Even rifing for it once a day for it, I found that I wasn't making much progress - so I increased it to twice a day. At this point I felt that I was started to make headway.

Accordingly putting these two pieces of information together I decided to rife the liver for 10 min. (twice daily) at 832 Hz.

> i thought i read that you alternated 832 and 1518. one in the a.m. and

> the other in the p.m. did i misread the previous posts? did you

> actually do each of them a.m. and p.m. ? i had been doing this and was

> hoping i could alternate them. shall i do each one morning and evening

> then? if this is what you did, i shall too.

>

Towards the end, when I was rifing for 'Babesia' I alternated frequencies on alternate days (ie - Day 1: 570 Hz, Day 2: 1583 Hz, Day 3: 570 Hz, Day 4: 1583 Hz, etc.....). But that was ONLY after my gains plateaued, and herxing stopped by rifing at exclusively 570 Hz for the babesia.

For the 'Bartonella', it was both 'am' & 'pm' sessions (every day) that I rifed at 832 Hz. Once again - when the gains plateaued, and herxing stopped, only then did I start to add in the 1518 - for both the 'am' & 'pm' sessions (in addition to the 832 for both sessions).

It should also be noted - that this is ALOT of rifing for one organ. So to help protect the liver - I was taking Milk Thistle and Dandelion Root daily.

> well, i will increase to 10 on the liver for 832 and continue 5 on

> the liver for 1518.

>

> i've treated for this 'bugger' for 3 yrs now, sure hope this time it works.

Maybe I'd suggest that once you go 2-3 weeks herx free at those frequencies - to take a break from the rifing (at least for the Bart). Transition into trying out Byron White's A-Bart Formula for awhile.

Max. dose is 20 drops twice daily. Start at 1 drop (or less) a day & then increase the dosage 'slowly' from there. More information regarding A-Bart:

hi,yes the abdomen is a hotbed.  the builder of my machine said that if you just treat the extremities, you won't herx and if you do, not much.

i'd like to see a chart also, but don't know that anyone has done one.  i've always been confused on where the bart is.  i heard in tissue, then the blood, then on the blood vessel walls.  i was told in the beginning 5 min. on the abdomen, then a few months ago, 5 on the liver, now recently 10 min. on the liver.

so, if we treat 10 min.on the liver, we get a lot of coverage on the blood.  by treating the rest of the body, we hit the tissues.

if you have a heavy load and are just starting to treat, yes, take it slow until you know where you are.  ryan made a good schedule, adding just one min. each day. when you are doing 2 treatments a day that not very much.  but again, if you are having problems, take it slow.  your goal is 2 treatments a day for bart, consisting of 10 on the liver and 2 min. on each body part.  my treatments are about 30+ min each.  i have to let the coil cool so at 832 it takes to sessions.  at 1518 it takes 3.

if you can, order a second coil from your builder.  it will be worth it.  i just told natalie, attach a small, extra fan on the back of the amp to blow extra air into the amp.  there is an intake area in the back where it's cooling air comes in.  this will help keep you amp cooler and add several minutes to each session.

also, very important is to plug all the components into a power surge protector and turn the machines on/off, all at once with the switch on the surge protector.  my switch on the amp went out very early. luckily, it went out in the on position  john said that was a problem with them.  he/i uses the power surge as the on/off switch now.

the liver or abdomen will give you the biggest hit and herx.  you can be careful there while you build up the other body part like arms, legs, etc.  or, you can work on the abdomen are alone, first.  but do expect to be sick with the bart herx at first.  part of the deal with bart.

are you doing a lot of detox and making sure your g.i. track is moving well?  i didn't for the first 2 yrs and suffered for it.  it is the most important thing to do.  this will help you move up in your treating ability.

well, i've told you more than i know already, so will stop.barbara

Does bart hang out strongly in the liver, or are you just seeking to catch the blood flow there?  Would be curious to see a body map/chart.  I've just been coiling the abdomen and can only tolerate short times.  So far i just stick with my tolerance level there; wondering if adding in more distal areas would increase herx symptoms significantly or are some areas easier to treat than others The abdomen is a real hotbed.

Hey Prickly Pear,

The bartonella primarily infect the blood. Or more precisely the red blood

cells. Among other duties, the liver is in charge of: a) filtering the existing

blood, and B) creating new red blood cells. Accordingly it is effective spot to

rife - for both the Bart. and well as the Babesia.

barbara -- thanks for your supportive email.. I'm doing treatments in the seconds range ( 5 - 10 seconds), literally.. iv'e noticed MCS is increasing a bit.  my gut is weird.. trying to keep up with detox with enemas /colonics, some binders and B12's etc...i guess just have to keep going even through uncomfortable reactions.  i may need to start getting iv's again due to nutritional depletion and that shoudl help the detox also.  i thought bart was in the gut ling ( for one) and i'm not sure where else.  I am welcoming it to leave.

i've been hearing that coffee enemas can increase yeast overgrowth which is a real bummer, cause it seems a really good way to dump the liver.  i'd like to know if that is 100% true, but it seems ot be as a number of knowledgeable people seem to be in accord.

thank you again

hi,yes the abdomen is a hotbed.  the builder of my machine said that if you just treat the extremities, you won't herx and if you do, not much.

i'd like to see a chart also, but don't know that anyone has done one.  i've always been confused on where the bart is.  i heard in tissue, then the blood, then on the blood vessel walls.  i was told in the beginning 5 min. on the abdomen, then a few months ago, 5 on the liver, now recently 10 min. on the liver.

so, if we treat 10 min.on the liver, we get a lot of coverage on the blood.  by treating the rest of the body, we hit the tissues.

if you have a heavy load and are just starting to treat, yes, take it slow until you know where you are.  ryan made a good schedule, adding just one min. each day. when you are doing 2 treatments a day that not very much.  but again, if you are having problems, take it slow.  your goal is 2 treatments a day for bart, consisting of 10 on the liver and 2 min. on each body part.  my treatments are about 30+ min each.  i have to let the coil cool so at 832 it takes to sessions.  at 1518 it takes 3.

if you can, order a second coil from your builder.  it will be worth it.  i just told natalie, attach a small, extra fan on the back of the amp to blow extra air into the amp.  there is an intake area in the back where it's cooling air comes in.  this will help keep you amp cooler and add several minutes to each session.

also, very important is to plug all the components into a power surge protector and turn the machines on/off, all at once with the switch on the surge protector.  my switch on the amp went out very early. luckily, it went out in the on position  john said that was a problem with them.  he/i uses the power surge as the on/off switch now.

the liver or abdomen will give you the biggest hit and herx.  you can be careful there while you build up the other body part like arms, legs, etc.  or, you can work on the abdomen are alone, first.  but do expect to be sick with the bart herx at first.  part of the deal with bart.

are you doing a lot of detox and making sure your g.i. track is moving well?  i didn't for the first 2 yrs and suffered for it.  it is the most important thing to do.  this will help you move up in your treating ability.

well, i've told you more than i know already, so will stop.barbara

Does bart hang out strongly in the liver, or are you just seeking to catch the blood flow there?  Would be curious to see a body map/chart.  I've just been coiling the abdomen and can only tolerate short times.  So far i just stick with my tolerance level there; wondering if adding in more distal areas would increase herx symptoms significantly or are some areas easier to treat than others The abdomen is a real hotbed. Thanks for you info!

hi prickly pear, your gut sounds like mine.  it is difficult to keep it all up.  i had not heard that about the c.e.  they are such a help to me, i think i will just keep killing the candida and stay a head of it.

ryan, with so much coiling over the liver, every heard that it is hard on it?i'm doing both freq for bart, 2x a day.  not herxing much if any from them anymore.  so i have also included both freq for the babs also.  all of these require many minutes for the liver.  again, ever heard of problems with this?

thanksbarbara

hi prickly pear, your gut sounds like mine.  it is difficult to keep it all up.

i had not heard that about the c.e.  they are such a help to me, i think i will just keep killing the candida and stay a head of it.

barbara

hi ryan, thanks.. doesn't bart also nestle in the gut lining? -- hmm- i'm thinking also those bugs could be causing a lot of liver inflammation which i'm now going through  as well.. thanks

Hey Prickly Pear,

The bartonella primarily infect the blood. Or more precisely the red blood cells. Among other duties, the liver is in charge of: a) filtering the existing blood, and B) creating new red blood cells. Accordingly it is effective spot to rife - for both the Bart. and well as the Babesia.

Hey Prickly Pear,

> doesn't bart also nestle in the gut lining?

As far as I know - the bart. bacteria 'prefers' red blood cells to hang out in.

But as these cells can adhere to the walls of blood vessels, veins & arteries -

that's why it's also important to rife the rest of the body (besides the liver).

To make sure you're also getting the ones stuck to the walls of the blood

vessels throughout.....

Now I'd also read that if you have had it for quite awhile, that they eventually

make there way into the brain cells as well.

I didn't pass by any information saying that they hang out in the gut lining

though. That isn't to say that they if fact 'do not', just that I haven't come

across any literature/papers that say they 'do'.

Yes, ultimately anything that causes the liver to work harder can induce extra

inflammation.

Hey Barbara,

I haven't heard/read anything on the subject. But then again, I'm guessing that

its not just a walk in the park for the liver as well!

Which is why (for the babesia treatment) I alternated the frequencies on

different days - instead of doing both frequencies all on one sitting. It is

also why, whenever possible (time permitting of course) - I tried to separate

the 2x daily sessions (morning & evening) for the bart. from the babesia session

(mid-day), again because I was worried that doing them all in one shot might be

'too' much for the liver.

At the peak of my rifing for bart., babesia & lyme I was starting to get some

inflammation in the liver. Now, I can't say if that was from the rifing

directly, or because it was just having to work harder to remove all the dead

bacteria, dead babesia, and dead red blood cells. Probably a combination of

both.....

Nonetheless, it was the reason why I was taking the dandelion root, and milk

thistle (2-3 times daily for both). As well as periodically doing (3 in total

while I was rifing) - liver flushes. All to try to help the liver stay in peak

functioning shape!

Hey Barbara,

Sorry for the delay....

> was there pain with the inflammation. any

> other symptoms?

There was 'some' pain - but not alot.

More that just the whole area around the liver became tender to the touch.

As well, the area of skin on the front, right, lower torso (where the liver is

located) would usually break out in rashes.

If rifing for Lyme - I'd develop mosquito bite type sores.

If rifing for Bart & Babesia - I'd get either whiteheads or mini-blood blisters.

Cheers,
