Guest guest
Hi, I started using mag oil daily in july 2012, and gradually weening off oral mag citrate down to 140-200mg per day to help with chronic constipation. Found that the only thing that's working for me is a daily foot soak to get the mag oil in. Questions for anyone who has some input, insight, answers, suggestions. --Do you think soaking my feet every day in 1/8 c. mag oil (= approx 3,500 mg) and 6 cups filtered hot water for 1 hr. could cause my feet to be more achey, sore, stiff, hurts to walk or put pressure on them... especially when first getting up after sleeping or sitting for a while? Then it calms down as I'm up and walking around. --Will my feet continue to absorb the mag oil if I do this every day, or do I have to get it on other parts of my body, by putting it in my bath for example? Spraying doesn't work to good for me because I'm at 50% dilution and it would take about 823 sprays to equal 3,500mg --Wondering if the bugs are attracted to my feet since I'm feeding them mag oil and making them ache! lol. B4 mag oil soaks, in the way past I had more achey feet as a symptom then it seemed to go away for a long time, but now it's back pretty strong. I'm hoping it's just coincidence and not from the Mag oil foot soaks causing this. What do you think? --Alternatively, If I put mag oil (about 1/2 c.) in a hot bath tub (rather than a foot soak)... how long do I have to soak to absorb at least 3,500mg ? I can only last about 30 mins tops... --Does mag oil pull toxins out of the body (like epson salts) or just soak into body to replenish mag into the body? --I assume it's BEST to not use mag oil in my bath at the same time I'm using other detox bath protocols such as 1/2 c. epson salts, or 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar, or 1/2 c. baking soda, or 1/2 c. 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide, correct? Thanks for any input.
