It really comes down to (this is very non-scientific!) following your gut instinct about what you believe is right for you. I have yet to read anyone's writing that I would follow completely and absolutely. I read, consider and then choose what I feel is right for my health. I know that probably isn't a lot of help if you're looking for specific direction! I guess what I'm saying is that you aren't alone in being confused about things and that if you listen to yourself you'll find what's right. (That's still no help, I know!) It's just that nobody else can really tell you which is right for you, but we can just, as you asked, share our own experiences and hope that will help. Personally, I have done a number of gallbladder cleanses and have not done a parasite cleanse. As for the herbal laxative, that would probably be comparable to the Epsom Salt mixture, which serves as a laxative. I don't use that, either, though, and choose to use apple juice instead. It requires more advance preparation, but I just don't like the diarrhea that accompanies the Epsom Salts. That's just my personal preference, though. Most people out here seem to avidly follow one particular protocol, but there are some of us who differ from that. This list is open to discussion of any type of GB cleansing, though, so hopefully you will get a variety of information. It's also a good idea, if you have the time, to look through the archives of this list. There's a lot of great information found there and a lot of personal experience as well. The bottom line is, in my opinion, getting as much information as you can and then listening to your own body and finding out what works for you. Good luck and good health! Guest guest
I have been reading several methods of liver cleansing. I have the book are you stoned and it suggests you use a herbal laxative to clean yourself out before you start. Dr. says not to do the liver cleanse until you have done a parasite cleanse. So which advice shoud I follow. Do I need to do a parasite cleanse first? or can I do it later. Please let me know your experiences. thanks. Guest guest
Hi, I'm doing my 6th cleanse today. I've always done Dr. 's cleanse. I did do the parasite/bowel/kidney cleanse about 6 months prior to doing my first liver cleanse, and I have been very successful doing the cleanse and pretty much sailed through them (I have had my GB removed). My sister finished first cleanse (Dr. 's) yesterday, and she said that she passed " too many stones to count. " She passed stones varied in color and shap...yellow, green, black. Most of them were 2mm or less, one was about 5mm. I had been telling her my experience with the cleanse, telling her she was headed in my direction if she didn't take care of herself. She recently just started having gallbladder attacks...was in a lot of pain...so, she decided to try the cleanse without doing the parasite cleanse first. She did experience a migrane headache during the cleanse, which could be associated with the beginning of her monthly cycle...not sure. The only other difference she experienced from me, was that she experienced quite a bit of bowel rumbling during and after the cleanse. She is now going to start the parasite cleanse, and when she's done with that, she's going to do another liver cleanse. Even with the headache and all, she was very pleased with the results, and is anxious to see if the cleanse helps reduce her pain. I will post more as she keeps me informed.
