Guest guest
Following are my new labs: Sodium....141....(133-147) Pottasium....4.0.....(3.5-5.1) Cortisol....1.8....(am:5.0-24) FT3....3.9.....(2.4-3.9) FT4....0.2....((0.6-1.2) TSH....0.01...(0.40-5.8) RT3...is not in yet but will be low am sure. I am currently on 75mcg T3 and 37.5 HC. As you know I have low cortisol since all my teeth pulled, infections, then husband in hospital. I may have to up my HC to 40 but am hoping I won't but my standing BP is still going down. I see the doc on the 29th. I know she is going to want the HC to go down. I know she does not understand that T3 will make the FT4's go down and RT3. My last lab in July my T3 was 6.5. Does that mean that the T3 finally got enough cortisol to do this??? How can this happen if for the month before blood draw I was in adrenal stress all the time??? Actually I am feeling better, the headaches aren't so bad now, only slilght. I do get tired easily tho, but trying not to do too much.

Guest guest
Thanks for the input on the cortisol testing. Does that go then for building up my reserves. Just because my HC is low in between my doses before time for another, doelsn't mean that my cortisol is low and hormones arent getting to my cells???? I guess I am still trying to figure out how my cortisol was so low that T3 built up in blood while taking my 37.5 dose. I feel so dumb..... Beings my standing BP goes down when checked every day should I then go up to 40mg HC??? > Cortisol tresting while on HC is VERY inaccurate. Guest guest
Can I get florinef without prescription? I have potassium pills I will start them tomorrow. My husband also takes Vit D so I will use his till I can get my own. I will use the 5000IU a day. COULD THE LOW SODIUM AND POTASSIUM CAUSE MY ADRENALS TO STAY STRESSED?? My temps have not been stable, but I have to admit I have not done a good job keeping them the last 2 or 3 weeks. I can get them doing good for 2 days, but the third was off. My BP has been ranging 140/150 systolic and in high 60's & 70's for diastolic. Today it was high at the docs again, but I was stressed. My pulse has been in the 50 and 60's, this morning it hit 48 but went back up the next check. If you want more specific numbers I will give them to you from my journal. I take triam/hctz 50/25 and atenolol 25mg for BP AT 6AM. It does go down some awhile after taking them, but it is usually 140 or 150 at 6am lately. When I first started taking the atenolol it went way down and so did my pulse, but both worked themselves back up. Could that be the sodium?? I quit the sea salt completely the week before the test and have been only doing one 1/2 tsp a day this week. I will go back to that twice a day. >> Your sodium and potassium are HORRIBLE! Guest guest
Sea salt and potassium both help control BP and I suspect the low sodium is why you cannto gt your temps stabilized. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Val, I do not understand it either, but in my iron researches I found many references to iron overload co-existing with anemia. I don't see a B12 test in those labs? B12 anemia mimics iron anemia, and B12 levels have a lot to do with size and shape of the red blood cells, so maybe it is possible it could also have some impact on the number of rbc? sol
Guest guest
Natural flavors can be anything. I thought MSG had to be labelled specifically? I do know that " natural flavors " can be carrageenan, or other seaweed derivatives, hence those are iodine containing ingredients. Of course the salt in regular V8 could be iodized salt, but 's has told me in writing that all 's products use non-iodized salt. sol Leisa Forman wrote: > I wanted to do that...but when I read the label, I noticed it had > " natural flavors " that the regular doesnt have. Guest guest
does the low sodium and potassium and cloride level come up when t3 getsbetter? Guest guest
I may seem dumb to you but how do I drink it in my water all day long? Tell me how would you please. I have just been putting 1 tsp in a little water, then drink a glass of water afterwards, to do it 3 times a day. But if I need a steady supply I am willing to suggestions... Oh by the way, after taking it this way a while, what is the difference I am looking for in how I feel???? > You probably should be drinking it is your water all day lomng to have a > steady supply. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ >
Guest guest
I only drink boottled water but you can do ti by the glassfukl too. Just eveyr glass of water you drink, salt ti to taste. Out a littl ein and stir an taste it, if it tastes good thne add a bti nmroe till it tastes salty thne dilute a bit. I usually end up with abut 1/2 teaspoon per pint of water I drink. but I do nto drink much wtaer so yours may be less. Once you find what tastes good to you, thne you can repeat without testing each time you gt a glass of water. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
