Help Needed for 11yo Boy in Puberty

I hope someone can offer some advice with this. My 11 year old,

140lb, 5'2 " moderately autistic son has entered puberty and his

behavior has become very challenging. His speaking ability has also

regressed. His DAN Dr. prescribed Tenex last year to help calm him

down, but it only seems to make him sleepy later in the day.

I've resisted going to psychoactive drugs, but I did see a post from

Dr. JM about using VRP's lithium for a young man. Would this be

appropriate?

Any suggestions would be helpful,
