Guest guest
I guess I will learn to keep my mouth shut. I didn't know you could make the almond flour. Sorry. Cheryl Ü
Guest guest
Carol Not in the least!! I didn't mean it to sound like I was upset. Sometimes I don't give the right info and that just makes me feel kinda dumb. Makes me go OOPS!!! Better watch what I say I could actually be wrong ;o) Heaven forbid!!! LOL Cheryl Ü << I hope I did not offend you when I told her that it was cheaper than buying it. Not to make a big deal out of it..... I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate all your posts. Thanks, Carol >>
Guest guest
I have one of the somersizing books. I can't honestly say that I have read all of it. It talks a lot about food combining as I recall. I would have to brush up to give you all the right data, but if you are willing to risk a fuzzy memory I will share what I recall. There are several " funky " foods that are never allowed. It seems like sugar, white flour, white rice, potatoes, popcorn, bananas and some other things are on this list of funky foods. Other than funky food exclusions you may eat fruit, but you must eat fruit alone and wait 20 minutes after eating fruit to eat anything else. Then you may eat things that are either essentially all low fat or all low carb as long as you aren't combining fats and carbs. I believe that you are supposed to wait at least 3 hours between food intake if you are switching from low fat to low carb or LC to LF. On maintenance you are allowed very limited combinations of carbs and fats. I got the book thinking that being able to switch back and forth would provide more variety, but I like straight LC better. Well, actually I enjoy cheating more, but straight LC is more successful. LOL Jean
