RE: turtling blues

I'm there with you. I gained one and a half pounds the first day,

but that was probably from some hot chocolate I drank at the FB

game Saturday. Now the half pound is gone, but I am still higher

than when I started. I know it will come off though.

Now, how did I do the rest of yesterday. I didn't have my afternoon

or evening snack, but my dinner was right on track. Now, I do have

to report a couple of minor changes to recipes for today's menu. I

was wondering if there was anyway to add some flax seed to the

menu to when I baked the Atkins rolls that I had for breakfast I

made a double batch and added 1 T of flax seeds to the yolk mixture.

I ground them up before adding to get the most benefits. I was

concerned about the possibility of deflating the egg whites, but

they turned out great. They even look a little more like bread

with those flecks in there. They taste great too, so I will

probably make that a regular addition. The other thing I did was

to add 2 T of Five Brothers Alfreado Sauce to my creamed chipped

beef this morning. The label lists 3 grams of carb per 1/4 cup,

so it did add some extra carbs, but boy it was so good. I think

it also made it more filling.

So Terry, I have been a naught girl already today, but I will

probably offset those extra carbs somewhere. I was also a little

light on the water yesterday, but if you follow PP guidelines, I

had more than enough diet Coke to offset the water shortage. That

isn't on the menu either, but some things I just can't give up.

A possible PMS would defintely do it! Come on girl -- chin up and
