Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group. I hesitated to approve this message because you're likely to get eaten alive by some of our members for what you've said here, lol, and I hate to see that happen to a brand new member. You've made some statements that run exactly counter to what we do here and what we know works. Because you're new (and probably didn't get a chance to read the group description very carefully, nor much of the material you received when you joined), I'll explain a few main points to you here. I encourage you to read all the materials you received when you joined, as they give you a good foundation for how we do things her. Some things to know: Western medicine DOESN'T work, and neither do these psych drugs. They make people sick and crazy. While some people may seem to benefit from them, that is usually because the drugs sedate them, rev them up, blunt their emotions, or otherwise mask the symptoms for which they took them in the first place. They do NOTHING to cure the underlying causes. Indeed, they make people more ill. Why do you think you're having such very uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms? because the drug ahs done damage to your body and brain, and now your systems have to struggle to recover. In the long run, Western medicine just makes people sicker in every possible way. The real cures are found in appropriate nutrition and supplementation. These provide the raw materials with which the body can repair the damage that has been done by the drugs, by a lifetime of inadequate and even toxic food, and from the toxic physical environments we live in. A second important point is that spirituality--and oftentimes alternative spirituality--is a lifesaver for people recovering from these drugs and from the symptoms that led to them. We find deep meaning and purpose in our struggles when looking through the lens of spirituality. Some folks here are fundamentalist Christians, some are Buddhists, some are devout Jews, and some are devoted students of New Age thought. Mystics are found in all these branches of spirituality. There is nothing wrong with mysticism. One cannot offer Western medicine as an alternative to spirituality. The two have nothing in common. <<I don't know what the lessons are that you are supposed to be learning - that will be something that only you will discover. I don't know why it happens to people, maybe it's a test of inner strength. Why do innocent children get cancer? There really is no answer to these questions.>> There ARE answers, though they may not seem clear and they may not be the answers we, inour ignorance, desire. We find them within us. My answers will be different than your answers, and Chris's will be different from mine. Yet in the end, they are all the same, and we are all one. << My life has been turned upside down and I can't seem to get back on track. I can't work and barely socialise. I'm trying to get off anti-psychotics and am going through a similar situation as yourself. >> We can help you with this. We have all been where you are, we have all trusted Western medicine only to be terribly damaged by it, and so many of us have healed in so very many ways. I'm glad you found us. " Kim's right Kimi, we all feel angry about what has happened to us, now we have to turn the anger into something positive. I don't think you offend anyone Kimi, I marvel at your bravery and honesty.
