tongue particles WAS Re: Val, Boogers with blood clots on the ends

I posted about this on the sister group-- NTH/Adrenals just the other

day! After I quit smoking in 1999, I went on a total eating binge

for several months-- very high-fat foods-- chips & dip, baked Brie

with cranberries... and then I started getting these little " bits " or

fatty/waxy particles that would come up the back of my tongue. They

smelled a bit rank, but they weren't as big as the bit you're

describing. Mine were a bit larger than cornmeal size. I never

mentioned this to a doc; never saved them-- just always thought it

was related to the high-fat stuff. I recently had them again, as I

went on a white chocolate truffle jag. Personally, I think it's

related to low stomach acid/high-fat food consumption for me. I also

have issues with my cholesterol dropping too low, and my nutritionist

said adding HCl would help (whic h I've been doing, but I still had

the particles while on it recently).
