Medical cost for EBRT treatment sessions and updates on my Dad treatments

Happy New Year to all!

My Dad just finished his last session this morning,

and he has been doing amazingly well. The only

symptoms he is feeling include minor urinary

irritation & urgency and some fatigue that a morning

nap could take care of. We are feeling very lucky and

prayering for the effectiveness of the treatments.

I just got the bills for my Dad's radiation treatments

(he only has Medicare without secondary insurance),

and the number is big, close to $15,000 out of pocket!

Can somebody provide some guidances in terms of what

is reasonable? I guess I can always get on a payment

plan -- a nice way to start 2008 :-(.
