This doesn't match your sound alike very well, but the GI docs I do always

say they are doing a colonoscopy to rule out colorectal neoplasia. Could

that possibly be it?

, I have never heard of this before, but per Dorland's metachronous means

occurring at different times. I am not at all sure that is what you are looking

If you do a search on www.google.com for metchronous

carcinoma, you'll come up with several hits but I have not

ever heard my oncology docs use this term either.
