Guest guest
I take it you ar post meno? WOW you have VERY low sex hormones ALL of them. Before changing back to Armoru you really need ot get the ferritin tested as well. And I woudl suggest at least Isocort. With adrenals low you will nto be utilizing thyroid properly and could go right back to high Rt3 -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Val, these labs are improved slightly from the very first time I had this tested 1 1/2 years ago. At THAT time, my doctor said I didn't need cortisol, and I never took anything other than supplements. I was on DHEA for a while and also bio-identical hormones but when beard growth started, I dropped first the testosterone and then weaned off all of it. I thought maybe the DHEA was converting to testosterone too. Anyway, I had a total hyst. at age 45 and I am now 50. I don't plan on taking the hormones again, from past experience they didn't help anything, I never felt that much better, and they made some things worse (the beard growth really pissed me off!) Also two cousins on both sides of the family have breast cancers so I feel like I'm better off NOT on hormones. I feel a lot better now since I've been on iron for a few months. I will try Isocort if you think I really need it. Couldn't I just drink coffee? (c8 ha ha ha wrote: > > I take it you ar post meno? WOW you have VERY low sex hormones ALL of > them. Guest guest
The thing is, especially since you have had a Hyst, your ADRENALS must make these sex hormones your body STILL needs now. It would bre VERY hard to rebuild your adrneals without treating some of the ow androgens as well. It does not sound as if you ever had PROPER replacemnt that was monitored to knwo what was happening wiht it,. As with ANY hormones too much is just as bad or worse than not enough. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
