iodine in armour, was Re: Re: Ferritin Up Some

The iodine in armour is bound into thyroid hormones. I do not think

there could be much free iodine in it, but I'm not certain of that.

But.............. some people have said there CAN be antigens/antibodies

in Armour and the other dessicated thyroid meds. Some think that is why

they cannot tolerate it.

Yes iodine is bound into thyroid hormones a when we take it but

diodination, the process of breaking down thyroid hormoens and using

them, releases iodine moleciules into the body. TGhus T4 becomes T3 and

then T2 and then T1 each one releasing iodine into the system which is

how it works.
