You had to pull it out with the syringe and that damaged the flap so we never did it. She was still able to spit up small amounts but any other sickness seemed to come out in the diaper area. One question that I have, if they know the stomach isn't emptying, have they ruled out pyloric stenosis, the narrowing of the outlet located at the junction of the stomach and small intestine? If they just do the fundo, and there is pyloric stenosis, then I would think that the feeding would get worse because the food wouldn't be able to escape up and wouldn't be emptying either.
