Thanks Val

Just need to check what the hyper type symptoms are all about even

though not any any meds and my labs were low. Is it tied up with a

period as I just got my Sunday. Awful it was too.

I wonder too that I am feeling a little better yet not taking T3 is

that period related too and am I going to bitch in a few days.

Thanks Margo

Val, can I split this capsule and dissolve half under the tongue. It's

a slow release T3 and pretty sure it's from a compund chemist. I just

thought I would try and get two doses out of it until I get an

increase.

Thanks Margo

Even with the low hypo results I got it was a hyper symptom? doesn't

mean I am going to go hyper does it. Since getting my period things

have improved why is that. Will it last or will things just go belly

up if I don't take anything.

Hyper symptoms are not necessarily hyperthyroid. You can get hyper

symtopms from low cortils as the cortisl is nto available to utilize the

thyriod properly thus making ti too much for your body to handle at that

moment. I have sen several women that had to stress dose extra HC just

before or the first few days of their periods. I believe ths us due to

progesterone ebing high and it can oftne bind to cortils receptors

makeing yo a bit coretils resistant when it is high.

Ok I don't know what to do about these adrenals. The doc who gave me

T3 though the saliva results were not too bad but did a 24 urine just

to be sure I didn't have high cortisol. He thought with those results

my adrenals were fine.

You thought with the sailva results they did not require HC just a

support like a licorice root or two in the morning. I've been taking

those with no change. The is no way I can get hc now to treat them. I

would have 2 doctors against me on this. I do have some HC left but it

may not be enough.

While decreasing the NT I did notice my temps were more stable and I

felt warmer. I need to monitor them more again now. The T3 takes care

of hyper symptoms I have in the mornings.

https://www.healthchemist.co.nz/product/900917.html

Could you please look at this link and see if this adrenal support my b

ok. It's about all I can get here. And remember I can't get stuff

into this country. Is the recommended dosage enough?

Any other suggestions would be great

Thanks Margo

As a last resort I will try and order in. Which is the best place to

order from. Thanks for looking at the link. I have just emailed my

good doc in the hope he will allow HC. Have also sent him the protocol

for it.

He also said so long as I am not getting any adverse effects from the

T3 I could introduce another tablet 12 hours later. I took my T3 today

at 10.15am instead of 6am. I made it through work ok. Little tired

now but not as bad as yesterday. Just hope it is an adjusting thing.

I will keep at one capsule for another couple of days before I

increase. I hope to here from him by tomorrow re the HC. If I can get

his permission then I am likely to get more scripts and if the T3

doesn't work for me at least I can have a go at treating the adrenals.

How much time should I give either side of taking T3 before/after

taking hc and other vitamins. It was suggest take nothing for 4 hours

of taking T3 but it seems such a long time.

Thanks again for your help.

Doesn't make me feel tired. Once I got up to a high enough dose, I

started feeling much stronger.

Val thinks it could be low cortisol causing the hyper. That fine

just have to find some way of dealing with it.

Cane some one tell me why I feel so good a couple of days before my

period and about day 6 of my cycle (used to be day 12) I get moody

big time want to cry all the time and just find life not worth it.

This sucks.

I'm not depressed as I have some good days, I'm sure I am on some

hormonal roller coaster but don't know what to do about it. It

frightens the hell out of me.

Right before oyur period is when progesterone is highest. It can mimiclk

cortilsl and actually binds ot cortisol receptos so that would leave more

cortilsl in oyur body for metabolic things thius making oyu feel better.

Bythe time oyu are past oyur period these levels drop, and oyu go back to

low coritls symotoms all the itme.

I have heard before import restrictions to NZ are even stricter than

those of AU. But even in NZ, Surely you can get common 1% Hydrocortisone

cream? It is in the first aid section of pharmacies and grocery stores

in the U.S.

That is ALL I use for my own HC treatment.

I guess all I can do is give it a go. Hopefully being off NT for a

few days might have helped stop making RT3 cycle. Wishful thinking

What do you do. T3 makes me terribly tired. I thought it was not

long after I took it the tired set in but it is about 6 hours later

and it hits hard. I tired to explain to her that even 15mg of NT

(which converts to about 9.5mcg T4??) made my symptoms worse and that

I went like pea soup in the head, now I am on 50mcg T4. She was not

concerned about that, she insisted I have T4 and keep on the T3 but

don't increase it.

I need something but heck it's hard when you can't get it.

I wish you were a doctor over here Val.

Margo,

I don't see how T3 could make you tired 6 hrs later. It is all gone by

then. T3 has a half life of 1 1/2 hrs according to one source I read.

Others say 6 hrs to 1 day. After six hours you are tired because you

either it is half gone or you don't have any T3 left in your body. If

T4 is going to RT3, that is what makes you tired because it blocks the

good T3.

Just me I think, I'm a weird chick.

I'm so sure it is T3 related as I have tired taking it a little later

and it still sets in about 6 hours later. I do however feel it is

helping with the mood. Maybe I am object to the fact that it was there

and all of a sudden it's not.

This might be just a case of getting used to the T3 but I took one of

the T4's today and coped a little better with the tiredness. I would

perfer not to take it and see how the T3 goes. I am going to try

second T3 tonight and see how I feel in the morning. I may just need

to experiment a little. The T4 is 50mcg but I think I will quarter

them and go in slow. At least that way if I am still converting to RT3

it will only be a small amount.

I do very much appreciate the patients everyone has had with me. I

just can't thank you guys enough.
