Guest guest
Great. My dentist still puts in silver amalgam fillings, saying it won't affect me. I've not had any done since I became a list member. Guest guest
I haven't allowed any silver/mercury fillings to placed in mine or any of my family's mouth for many years. I always request composite fillings. Sometimes when I've had insurance, they let me know that insurance doesn't pay the addition cost. So be it. I also had all my silver/mercury fillings removed about 6 or so years ago. Steve Janis Whitcomb wrote: > Great. My dentist still puts in silver amalgam fillings, saying it won't > affect me. Guest guest
I had mine replaced 6 yrs ago. shortly after, I became sick, but theres no telling that that was the reason..just made things worse. My dentist was passive aggressive. He didnt believe silver is bad, so while he took then out, I swallowed all the mercury. great, huh? > Great. Guest guest
I had all mine replaced over 30 years ago for other reasons. No precautions. The last amalgam filling I was given had to be replaced with composite because it gave me electrical shocks reacting with my gold crowns, I was told. That was at least 25 years ago, and I've had nothing but composite since. No precautions then either. sol Leisa Forman wrote: > I had mine replaced 6 yrs ago. shortly after, I became sick, but > theres no telling that that was the reason..just made things worse. I had dental dams used for all but one of the many filling swaps. To this day, I prefer dental dams and request them whenever possible. It avoids swallowing anything. I do have one gold crown which I don't think is a bad thing. -- Steve - dudescholar4@...
