Hi,

I have Grave's disease and thyroid eye disease, and had RAI several years ago.

My new doc thinks I'm reacting to pig proteins. He prescribed a compounded, time-release T4/T3 = 40mcg/25mcg. He doesn't think I have RT3 issues (see labs below).

I was on 3 grains of Armour. The new script seems very low to me. He wants to get my TSH up a little. It's been suppressed ever since I've been on Armour.

The doc doesn't think I have RT3 issues. I think I posted here a few weeks ago asking for help with the RT3 calculation, but I didn't get a response. My previous doc tested RT3, but I moved away before I could follow up on it.

My cortisol is very low except it spikes way up late at night (hence my insomnia, I guess). He has me on something for that.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me. I looked in the group's "files" for info, but non of the listed files would open. I also did a search on switching, but didn't find any info that helps.

Your FT3/RT3 ratio is 21 so it is fine. He kept the same T3 oyu were on pretty much but lowered your T4 quite a bit. I owuld not worry abut a supressed TSH with any kind of thyroid antibodies oyu need a supressed TSH.
