signing at school-not at home

My daughter and son-in-law attended 's review meeting at school

today and were amazed that the school had logged 40 different signs

which had used over the last school year (all in context)

At home we cannot get any signs from her although we believe she

understands what we sign to her.

Has anyone come across this before?
