Guest guest
Hi Val: I wrote several weeks ago w/ my labs. You advised I had an RT3 problem and to start Isocort and Ferritin before starting T3. I've been taking both - Isocort up to 8 pellets/day now and Elemental Iron @120 mg./day. My temps had gotten up to 98.2 stable, but have gone down again to 98.0 average. They are varying a little more than .2 as Dr. Rind likes. My basal temp is always lower..@.... I don't want to start T3 prematurely. What are your thoughts re when I could safely start the T3 and, as importantly, how much and how to ramp up? My doc is not well versed in this and I want to give him as much info as possible. Thanks, as always, for your much appreciated help. Here are my labs, just in case: TSH = .97 (.27-4.2) FT4 = 1.16 (.80-1.70) RT3 = 224 FT3 = 2.44 (1.80-4.20) Ferritin = 45 (13-150) Sharon
