Why not order your own?

If you are in the USA, and not in New York state or California, you can

order your own labs through Health Check.

I just looked up Ferritin:

http://www.healthcheckusa.com/lab_tests/Individual_Tests/Ferritin

$25.99

Thanks, I've bookmarked the healthcheck site. But............

Nearest labs are 170 miles away, 340 mile RT. Too far. And through

mountains in winter? No way. I may change my mind next May by which time

the weather will be good again. But by May will probably decide to wait

until Sept. LOL.

sol

P.S. even in good weather with dry roads the winter days are too short

for me to drive there and back in daylight. With my cataracts I no

longer can drive safely at night, my night vision has always been poor

and it is worse now.
