Following threads verses long e-mails

Can I remind you that you can pick up a thread on the group website and check what started the thread.

Posting in a long thread is a balance between getting rid of a lot of the old text but retaining some indication of what it is about.

In a group full of human beings this will not be perfect. Some will forget and a really long thread 2 or 3 days in will have some wondering "what started this?" as only the bits of intermediate e-mails will be retained.

This does require a bit of patience and a polite question is usually answered on the group.

One thing I do agree with in recent posts is that Kathy is an angel and we are grateful for her input.
