Guest guest
I didn't have the missed heartbeat before starting replacement. I was unable to tolerate thyroxine and armour hence the T3. Was diagnosed on clinical symptoms . After finding out that I wasn't converting (from 24 hour urine test ) started cortef and T3. Will hopefully have a test result tomorrow from GP for serum free T3 and free T4, so will know where my levels are at , or not as the case maybe. I was on a higher dose of T3 but Sheila from TPA said like it sounded I was on too big a dose of T3 for my adrenals to cope with, so dropped it down from 75 to 50 then to 37. 5 then today to 25 and still getting flip flop (missed heartbeat ) Thanks for your response, best wishes , Jo Maybe as my hypothyroidism is due to adrenal exhaustion maybe the cortef has made the higher dose of T3 unecessary. Sorry it is just all so confusing especially as I dont know if it is a thyroid dump causing missed beats due to raising cortef to 25 mg a week ago. Hope I get results tomorrow. - Subject: Re: flip flop heartbeat !To: RT3_T3@...Date: Thursday, 27 November, 2008, 9:23 PM irregular heartbeats si usually from hypothyroidiosm I woiuld raise the T3.
