Guest guest Posted August 30, 2012 Report Share Posted August 30, 2012 Rocephin can be hard on the kidney's and can cause stones, when I was on it I drank lots of water, and alternated org. apple cider vinegar and cranberry juice, this helps flush the kidney's. Other than that I did fine on the iv, just make sure to change the bandage weekly, don't get the area wet, and I flushed my line 2 x's a day after ea. abx treatment.
