Guest guest
Sometimes advanced aggressive prostate cancer just stops making PSA, some people have used the analogy that it just forgets how to make PSA. In these situations, even with a minimal PSA, the cancer is still there doing its thing. Hi, My husband's PSA is around 300 and he feels no ill effects of his PCa. His only complaints are due to chemo - feeling a little tired and constipation. His oncologist said that he lost a patient whose PSA was 8, but a new patient came to him with a PSA of over 1000. So I'm wondering if anybody is researching why one man can feel so well with a PSA of 300 and another man may be near death with a single-digit PSA. What is it in a man's biological make-up that makes such a difference in his ability to handle a given PSA level? Thank you.
