Guest guest
Bonnie & Don,welcome! I think physical therapy is the best thing you can do for yourself with this dreadful disease.I have been in an exercise program since 95,I workout at the gym, also,do aquatic exercise's,after the gym workout.spend 2.1/2-3hrs/day at the gym, almost every day.I believe this has slowed my progression considerably. There really is no medication for PLS,as you probably have heard. Most inportant to keek a good attitude, think positive, that is easier said than done,we all have our down days.If you think doing the gym work is to much, just do the aquatic exercise's,I believe it will make a big difference in your mobility,it has for me.Good luck,.
