Guest guest
changes in T4 tak 4-6 WEEKS o feel so you reall need to hold dosew longer nd thne get labs or at least do temps with pulse to getan idea what is oging on. Trying to figure it out wihtthe changes you have don way too fast would be guesswork! But I cn atell you this ERYONE needs some T3. T4 only is a VERY ooor way to privide your body extra thyroisd and sooneer or later symoptkois arise some not so easy to fix. ON any thyri meds your pusle should be over 60 that si NOT a normal adult pusle unless oyu are a runer and extremely fit. 72-80 is a normal pulse for most adults. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Hi , I would have liked to wait 4-6 weeks to get labs to confirm hyperthyroidism but I was feeling so bad that I couldn't continue on that dosage. I was getting only 3 hours of sleep each night. So, I reduced the dosage. What would you suggest I do now? I was thinking of waiting until my pulse goes down to normal, or at least 80 anyway, and then slowly increase the T3 up to 20mcg whilst staying on a lower dose of 25mcg of T4. Thanks for your help, paul > > changes in T4 tak 4-6 WEEKS o feel so you reall need to hold dosew > longer nd thne get labs or at least do temps with pulse to getan idea > what is oging on. On two nights I could feel my heart > beating very quickly and had trouble sleeping. I think I was hyper. I have been feeling suffocated and out of breath since I got into this Rt3 problem. It is getting better as I increase T3. After breakfast and lunch, maybe 2 or 3 hrs after T3 dose, I start feeling suffocated and take another 5 mcg and it goes away. I have gotten up to about 90 mcg rather fast, but having only good effects. Have much more energy, sleeping better, as long as I get enough T3 during the day so I don't have to take it before bed. However, 5 mcg at 3 or 4 AM works good for another couple hours sleep along with 5mg HC. Still out of breath with little exertion, but it is better. My ave temp has gotten all the way up to about 98.0 and my resting heart rate still around 68. My heart was doing some occasional weird beats a week or so ago, but not now. What's going on? Just different people? Dorothy
