Guest guest
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had advice about my situation. I have 2 boys with autism and a NT (so far) 16 month old girl. My daughter is not vaccinated and has never had to have antibiotics!!! Yesterday I took her to the Dr for a possible UTI. Her urine tested positive for leukocytes and nitrites. They did a culture at the dr and also gave her a cathater(Yikes). I don't get the results back from the cath urine until tomorrow but the culture they did in the office was negative. My ? is should I keep her on the antibiotics (Bactrim) until I find out the results? I give her probiotics 4 hours after her antibiotics. I just don't want to use antibiotics as a precaution. I skipped tonights dose and may skip tomorrow morning's until I get the results. Is this the right thing to do? She has only had 2 doses so far. Thanks for the help Steph
