Guest guest
Hi , Good luck on flush #6. Your GB group is cheering for you. :-) I'm going to do flush #3 this weekend. Wish me luck. I think it is a great idea to skip all foods and fast on the day of the cleanse. I think by fasting, except water or juice, will get the best results in the evening. You want your GB to really squeeze the bile out during the process and I think avoiding foods in the morning will only improve the amount of bile buildup to achieve the strongest effect. Thanks for sharing this point with us. I think everyone should try fasting the entire day and check their results. Barry. > I'm going to do cleanse #6 tonight. Guest guest
At or about Sat, 5 Jan 2002 08:46:25 EST, Rachd1961@... entered the following: >I'm one of those who hasn't really had any ill effects, other than >extended diarrhea from the >Epsom Salts (which is one of the reasons why I don't use them anymore). , Do I then understand that you ingest only olive oil and lemon juice (or grapefruit juice) for the flush? Without the Epsom salts, then, are you able to discern the gallstones that you have passed? Since you stated that you no longer use Epsom salts, I understand that in the past you used them and you no longer do so. What is the difference in the results? Does your flush regimen involve anything else (parasite cleanse, kidney flush, apple juice, herbs, etc.)? I see that you added: >I've juiced a quart of apple juice and then some apple/beet juice as well. >I'm going to juice some lemons this morning and add them to the distilled >water when I get back from the store. I've found, personally, that I have >the best results when I do a juice fast for the whole day and not just the >afternoon. I usually have the juice, but this time I'm adding the lemon >water. So...wish me luck. Is this actually part of your liver cleanse, or do you do it for another purpose? Is it necessary? What about someone who cannot stomach beets? (Like me <g>.) Perhaps what would really help would be for you to outline the regimen that you undertake, which i understand is not identical to that found at any website. ----------------------- IRA L. Guest guest
Hi Ira Sorry I didn't answer this earlier. I've had my niece staying with me and have been choosing to enjoy her company rather than that of my computer. But tonight we are both catching up a bit with our email, so I will try to answer your questions. > Do I then understand that you ingest only olive oil and lemon juice (or > grapefruit juice) for the flush? Yes, that is how I have done the last 3 cleanses. > Without the Epsom salts, then, are you able to discern the gallstones that > you have passed? Since you stated that you no longer use Epsom salts, I > understand that in the past you used them and you no longer do so. What is > > the difference in the results? I see no difference, honestly. I do try to drink a lot of apple juice, which has the added effect of loosening the stools, but not to the extent of diarrhea like the Epsom salts do. I can see the 'results' just as easily as I could with the ES, too. > > Does your flush regimen involve anything else (parasite cleanse, kidney > flush, apple juice, herbs, etc.)? I see that you added: I have not yet done a parasite cleanse, but it is something that I am giving serious consideration to. I have used Schulze's ICF1 & 2 for a bowel cleanse, but the regimen for the gallbladder cleanse doesn't really involve anything more. > Is this actually part of your liver cleanse, or do you do it for another > purpose? Is it necessary? What about someone who cannot stomach > beets? (Like me <g>.) I add the beet juice because I know it is so VERY good for the liver. It isn't so intolerable when it's mixed with other juices, which is important to do anyway. If you have a juicer and can even add a very small amount of beet to other juice, it will still do you good and it might help you build up a tolerance for the taste. But to answer your question, no, it isn't necessary. > > Perhaps what would really help would be for you to outline the regimen that > > you undertake, which i understand is not identical to that found at any > website. If you are still referring to the gallbladder cleanse, it actually is outlined on a website. You can find it at www.relfe.com. I hope this answers your questions, but I'd be glad to share anything if it helps. toward good health,
